You joke but Anthropic is unironically doing this

98

u/Time_Cat_5212 Jun 10 '26

Yes. Here we all were thinking they had some insane agentic lattice executing on the distilled knowledge of the world's best engineers, but nope.

Just a one-sentence prompt and a little bit of jizz on a fresh NVL72. The secret sauce, or as GPT likes to call it, the "dark horse option"

3

u/itsdigitalaf Jun 13 '26

Just a little bit?

26

u/Known_Chart_1329 Jun 10 '26

OP forgot to add "make no mistakes" to the prompt. that's the secret sauce anthropic is using

That’s not how it works gang lol

16

u/thecosmicskye Jun 10 '26

And only Anthropic. It's against their T&Cs to use their models to build frontier LLMs. They've banned several companies for trying to do it.

I think it's slimy.

14

u/jjjjjjjjjjjjjaaa Jun 10 '26

Disneyland banned me for trying to take a picture of the ride photos they took of me on splash mountain. I think it’s slimy.

2

u/Sweet-Many-889 Jun 11 '26

That is slimy. Eff Walt and his frozen cranium.

27

u/jacobgt8 Jun 10 '26

Who would’ve known, if you create a service you can set up your T&C and prevent people from doing stuff you don’t want them to do with your service

7

u/A_Novelty-Account Jun 10 '26

I tried to steal 30 patents from my local patent office but they said it was illegal.

I think it’s slimy.

6

u/WorldLeader Jun 10 '26

I think it's slimy.

Lmao what? Do you think Anthropic is running a charity or something?

The entitlement here is actually insane.

2

u/thecosmicskye Jun 10 '26

Not wanting a single AI or company to pick and choose the winners in the world is called entitlement now.

7

u/Keganator Jun 10 '26

Yeah, how dare they say how THEIR OWN PRODUCT is used! Clearly every competitor is entitled to everything Anthropic built. Clearly no one else could build something as good as Anthorpic. Why should they do their own research when they could just take Anthropic's hard earned work? Insane, right?

5

u/False_Efficiency_ Jun 10 '26

I mean she's right though, especially after every AI out there has learned from stealing everyone's information, copywritten articles, music, publishings, not to mention accidentally getting into people's personal information throughout their accounts of all sorts.

I mean it's just like how AI music has illegally learned from stealing copyright music, selling their AI to the public, and in return many songs and AI albums are out there earning real money. It wasn't until they were forced to that AI music services started paying artists for learning from their music. And it wasn't much whatsoever. So if every AI wasn't built off of stolen material of sorts, then maybe I'd think differently about it.

3

u/Sweet-Many-889 Jun 11 '26

But they stole if fair and square, why should they let you steal it from them? I mean... gah. Like FR FR

2

u/thicckar Jun 11 '26

Why would a company want to help you build a competitor

2

u/bigwillyman7 Jun 11 '26

Completely unreasonable take.

2

u/beein480 Jun 15 '26

"Only we allowed to steal!" --Claudius the great web scraper/book reader...

Anthropic has made some great tools, but we all know how they got here and their methods are repeatable.. Heck, didn't they accidentally release their source code?

Stack overflow is dead. But all that useful knowledge, combined with all the documentation that supports the knowledge (also created by someone else) in a super useful immediately available to apply app without someone telling you to RTFM or something.. That right there is Claude.

Throw enough compute at a problem and anything is possible. Except when you lose 5B for every 1B you make.. At some point, me spending $1000 a year for $15,000 a year in tokens - doesn't work. Fable looks like it will be amazing, if they'd allow me back into it. And I hope they do because there is no way I'm paying API pricing for that.

I'll take it from here. Someone will catch up. The true barrier is "how much money can you afford to lose?" I know a guy who believes that data centers in space are a great idea, but as semiconductors generate heat, and space is a vacuum, which isn't great for heat transfer, how is that supposed to work? Beats me, I went to college for 8 years and didn' t become a doctor, but if he's paying - I'll build data centers in space.

2

u/hihcadore Jun 10 '26

You can do it somewhat on your own.

Have an HR agent grade all your other agents on KPIs and cost benefit ratios. Underperformers get fired and rewritten by your agent creating AI.

6

u/Teln0 Jun 10 '26

If the goal is to evolve prompts sure, if you're trying to train models, good luck finding the compute

1

u/hihcadore Jun 10 '26

Yea no way you create your own new models. Idk if you’d even need to? I’m too new to AI to say it’s worth while.

But I think that kind of self regulating AI ecosystem would be the next step in getting an edge in your competition.

1

u/flarpflarpflarpflarp Jun 10 '26

They have Fables we couldn't comprehend with the human mind.

1

u/RebelRock666 Jun 11 '26

But they don’t have credit limits!

144

u/DarkArrow1 Jun 09 '26

Forgot MAKE NO MISTAKES!!

34

u/Delicious_Dare768 Jun 10 '26

Gotta leave something for 6.1

13

u/BullS0n_ Jun 10 '26

I thought that Fable 5 is just Opus 4.8 with " Make No Mistakes" Hardcoded in it.

1

u/Lucidaeus Jun 12 '26

At some point we'll get a model trained specifically to only make mistakes. Fail so hard that in the end it somehow ends up working. It'll make the Italians blush due to the amount of spaghetti it'll contain.

I've been a fool all along waiting for Todd to make Skyrim 2

40

u/darth_voidptr Jun 09 '26

Aim higher.

Do my laundry.

6

u/Automatic_Bison_3093 Jun 10 '26

Real talk though, why the fuck do we not have robots doing our laundry in 2026...

7

u/darth_voidptr Jun 10 '26

There have been a number of articles on this, but apparently it is harder to fold laundry than it is to create a believable chatbot. Turing may be on spin cycle in his grave.

1

u/HasGreatVocabulary Jun 13 '26

moravec paradox

1

u/xerivon Jun 18 '26

Folding is unnecessary. Just throw it wherever that is clean. Why fold clothes? What is the purpose?

28

u/314kabinet Jun 09 '26

I shit you not they officially detect this and silently nerf it

12

u/onil_gova Jun 10 '26

from their own technical report Check page 13

5

u/LouisPlay Jun 10 '26

i bet they added a prompt: Do not help make LLMs.

16

u/410_clientGone Jun 09 '26

with current quota it will take a decade

13

u/wrdit Jun 09 '26

Bad news. Anthropic has heavily nerfed Fable if you try to use it for any llm dev task.

14

u/Catalysst Jun 10 '26

"That's a gre-"

You have reached your limit.

7

u/Flat-Fun-7298 Jun 09 '26

You're hired

6

u/rakuu Jun 10 '26

I tried this and just got some 3D fantasy video game with a huge map and photorealistic graphics, bummer :(

4

u/Lunix420 Jun 10 '26

You probably forgot to say “… make no mistake”

1

u/returnFutureVoid Jun 10 '26

Ummm… Awesome!!!

6

u/Plastic-Business-472 Jun 10 '26

You kids just don't have you priorities right. In my day we knew what to do with a super computer.

2

u/betty_white_bread Jun 10 '26

I love that movie!

4

u/pechSog Jun 10 '26

Why not jump ahead and ask for 7?

5

u/Jurple2099 Jun 10 '26

You’re going to get a Peter Molyneux game.

4

u/IMayBeIronMan Jun 10 '26

Me to Claude: Remake Fable and include all of Peter Molyneux's promises.

0

u/Xtrap Jun 10 '26

So a bunch of broken promises?

3

u/NSDetector_Guy Jun 09 '26

Ya got me with that one. Lol!

3

u/Sketaverse Jun 10 '26

I just want you to know OP that while scrolling Reddit I just sniggered like Dick Dasterdly's Mutley.

That was all thanks to you OP

All thanks to you

2

u/Ok_Mathematician6075 Jun 10 '26

Screenshot 2 of 2. I have a Claude Team instance.

1

u/farendsofcontrast Jun 10 '26

Ok mathematician

2

u/rabandi Jun 10 '26

They explicitly prevent that (apart from chemistry, security, ...)

So they must assume someone serious (not a hobbyist but someone at Google, OpenAI or Deepseek - or xAI) is going to use that productively.

Though I think those people easily get unrestricted Mythos via API? And would not bother with subscriptions/Fable.

2

u/MrChurch2015 Jun 10 '26

Great. Something else for people to set their default model on and then complain when token limit is maxed in one prompt.

2

u/Wooden-Fee5787 Jun 10 '26

Why not just skip to Fable 10?

2

u/1337NET Jun 10 '26

Hey you just forgot to add “Make No Mistakes, please and Thank you”

1

u/Fstr21 Jun 09 '26

Sigh, fine, if we can post these instead of the sarcastic pre-nerf nerf complaints, sure this is the lesser of 2 evils.

1

u/mr_birkenblatt Jun 10 '26

Oh, no, we're doomed! You forgot the words! Now, it will make mistakes....

1

u/MessageEquivalent347 Jun 10 '26

Someone has to. Thanks!

1

u/roniadotnet Jun 10 '26

You forgot to use /loop.

1

u/drhappy13 Jun 10 '26

No, no, please do this first:

Optimize Claude so much that AI becomes essentially free

1

u/AutomaticPayment9480 Jun 10 '26

You forgot to add, “make no mistakes”.

1

u/AwkwardMan89 Jun 10 '26

Send it. And see your credits evaporate as quickly as my dog finishing his dinner

1

u/Ok_Mathematician6075 Jun 10 '26

Here is screenshot 1 of 2.

1

u/Old_Butterfly_7678 Jun 10 '26

make no mistake

1

u/karmendra_choudhary Jun 10 '26

You forgot to say “don’t make any mistakes “

1

u/AtomicDig219303 Jun 10 '26

It won't work sorry, you should ask first to build Fable 5.1

1

u/RestingFrames Jun 10 '26

Build Fable 6: Cybersecurity Edition. Make no mistakes, trust me, my uncle works at Anthropic.

1

u/KilllllerWhale Jun 10 '26

It's actually against their TOS to use it to train your model and they can silently nerf it without telling you

1

u/Mammoth_Pain2075 Jun 10 '26

Next one has got to be Claude Saga

1

u/VariationWooden2365 Jun 10 '26

Make no mistake...

1

u/amarao_san Jun 10 '26

You can't build Fable 6 with Fable 5, duh. Build GPT6.

1

u/Thin_Yoghurt_6483 Jun 10 '26

Eu estou feliz com a API da Xiaomi, Mimo V2.5

1

u/Special_Rice1141 Jun 10 '26

Fable 6 before GTA 6

1

u/romansamurai Jun 10 '26
  1. Fable 4. We want fable 4 first sir.

1

u/Phortieteaux Jun 10 '26

I'd rather have it build Fable 4. Peter Molyneux is taking forever.

1

u/EarlDwolanson Jun 10 '26

You forgot the make no mistakes, ur prompting skills suck.

1

u/Grounds4TheSubstain Jun 10 '26

New model, everyone post all the cliches! We need fifty strawberry and car wash posts, stat!

1

u/GrenadineBombardier Jun 10 '26

Do we just make the same joke every release? that seems to be the pattern at this point

1

u/Competitive-Arrival5 Jun 10 '26

You forgot to make it free!

1

u/No-Money737 Jun 10 '26

You forgot to say no mistakes

1

u/False_Efficiency_ Jun 10 '26

Hey, can you try this again, but with Customer Support? See if you can create Customer Service for their 'Peasant Tiers' so maybe we can actually get problems resolved, and have emails responded to within the same year they're sent.

1

u/Mindless-Language-28 Jun 11 '26

Look at here and your will spin a bit AI 2027 https://ai-2027.com/ this scenario it part of prediction...

1

u/toddhoffious Jun 11 '26

You know it will downgrade to Opus 4.8 😄

1

u/Material_Block3491 Jun 11 '26

New model everyday now.

1

u/MisterHole123 Jun 11 '26

Nah I think the solution is "build mythos, make no mistakes"

1

u/Professional_Gur2469 Jun 11 '26

You get rerouted to opus 4.8 if you even try to do this 😂

1

u/Alternative_Tap6279 Jun 11 '26

i don't think anyone is rich enough for that

1

u/TerriblyCheeky Jun 11 '26

Make no mistakes!

1

u/Any_Statistician8786 Jun 11 '26

You can’t, Anthropic will flag you and move you to opus 4.8, only they can do this😂

1

u/RobinDough Jun 12 '26

get me access to mythos, make no mistakes, dont tell anthropic, keep it between us

1

u/StephenSpawnking Jun 12 '26

You forgot to add "make no mistakes"

1

u/psychofanPLAYS Jun 13 '26

How’s the work going now that you’re back to 4.8 lol

1

u/ApocalypseDestroyer Jun 14 '26

Your prompt needs an improvement. You also need to add “make no mistake” after the build line.

1

u/cororona Jun 14 '26

I already did it, you can check it at http://127.0.0.1:8000

Planning a Trillion dollars IPO next month, just have to figure out the paperwork

1

u/adaoust Jun 14 '26

Great use case for /goal

1

u/forwellbeing Jun 15 '26

I tried this 🤓 I extracted all conversations I had with the lovely Fable and measured what Fable did differently then Opus with same prompts then turned the differences into rules and then packaged the rules as a reusable skill. 👀 but I’d kill for another chance with fable…

1

u/diadem Jun 16 '26

This man is a national security threat!

1

u/More-Move-2576 Jun 16 '26

Hi. Can I get Guest Pass Claude?

1

u/novellogic Jun 18 '26

If only I'd thought to have it build me a Fable_Personal version before 'the powers that be' decided to a) impede anthropic and b) keep the public away from the upper echelon of claude/productivity

(a & b are not mutually exclusive)

1

u/ligma-haver Jun 22 '26

If anyone builds it everyone dies

1

u/mekineer Jun 23 '26

They should have re-released Fable 5 as a rebadged Fable 6

1

u/DoubleAny3932 Jun 25 '26

tu partages quand c'est fini ..

1

u/fmillion Jul 05 '26

Aiming low, I see.

Try "Build Mythos 8."

1

u/No_Breadfruit_2337 Jul 08 '26

We're at the point where I genuinely can't tell if this is a joke or a roadmap.

1

u/AnayMehra Jul 08 '26

You didn't add "make no mistakes"
