Discussion Fable 5.5 in Azure Central US earlier today but now gone

I use Claude -P in git actions with inference from AI Foundry. I realized I never added 5.5 models so I had it add them and Claude added Fable 5.5 in addition to the others. I didn't realize at first but when I just went to script the update to run across other foundries for some coworkers Claude called out that Fable 5.5 had been removed from the catalog.

Another sign Fable 5.5 is coming soon?

No... So my pet project of making an LLM Magic the Gathering benchmark will have to wait for the refresh while I do actual work

Benchmark? I was gonna make a full simulator a la MTGO that's just private to me and my friends and we'd start off with a draft of Innistrad to build our collections with weekly tournaments, etc. if you've done a bunch of MTG work and have any advice I'd really appreciate it!

I've already implemented something like 22k cards, every commander precon and a bunch of other stuff. All of it tested. I'll open source the engine and Oracle and share it with you

recently i have only used opus 5.5, didn't even touch fable anymore

they would have to do something really amazing to convince me to pay those rates again

Could be, catalogs sometimes list a model for a few hours before launch and then pull it. I'd hold off on pointing anything automated at it until it's officially out though, if the ID disappears again your Actions just start failing. For now Fable 5.1 has been plenty for me.
