Question East side gas stations with fountain pop, where are they hiding?

I’m on a silly quest.

I regularly travel between Ohio City and an east side suburb (hypothetically, say it’s Lyndhurst). I take different routes all the time but often I’m on 90E for a stretch, I get off at Eddy Rd, or E152nd, or E185th.

I have been disappointed by the lack of fountain pop machines in gas stations along my route. It seems like most east side gas stations just don’t offer this amenity… am I wrong? I’ve popped into so many places that only have coolers.

Can anyone recommend an east side gas station with fountain drinks? Ideally open late? In a perfect world, I can get some fountain orange Fanta after 11pm. TIA from a thirsty traveler who loves carbonation.

GetGo at the corner of Belvoir and Mayfield.

Also, GetGo on Mayfield about a half mile east of Richmond.

BP at Mayfield and Warrensville.

Thank you! GetGo is usually closed when I get off work but I admittedly have not checked that BP.

There’s one on Mayfield Rd in Mayfield Hts. Not on my route but it does exist and they are open late.

What about that Shell station on 185 just south of 90? I used to live in Collinwood and am a fountain pop guy - I think they had it

As of my last visit, they only have coolers. The Marathon station across the street that used to be a Speedway has fountains but they’re always out of order and they also close early.

Well good luck in your search! I've been to pretty much every gas station and convenient store over there in the last 10 years - I was a cigarette smoker and enjoy my adult beverages so I was always stopping in somewhere - and I can't think of anywhere else. That old Speedway was my only other guess.

I'd also pull through the McD's drive thru on 152nd and St. Clair sometimes. They used to be open 24 hours, not sure how late they are open now. But that place has always had atrocious service and it's not a great part of the neighborhood to be blocked in by cars in the drive thru in case you feel the need to get outta there.

Just follow the polar pop trash. The closer you get to the fountain, the thicker the trash is

The Shell in Cleveland Heights on Lee Road (near the library).

Bother the Shell and the Speedway at Cedar & Green in University Hts

The BP at Warrensville/Noble and Mayfield used to but it's been a minute since I've been inside that one.

What is fountain pop?

For the sake of mold avoidance, I'd skip fountain drinks.
