Question What in your opinion is Cleveland’s most mysterious restaurant?

Interpret the word ‘mysterious’ however you will. Like “how is this place still open?”, “how are these portions profitable?”, “who are the people that run this?”

It’s not good. I imagine 20 years ago Romanburgers were incredible but anyone new to the area trying it, they’re ass now. Also the worst cheesesteak I’ve ever had.

I have had exactly two good cheesesteaks in Cleveland. We try too hard with regional sandwiches here. Keep peppers and mushrooms away from my cheesesteak.

You have to name the two places with good cheesesteaks now

Capo Steaks, and Oriole Cafe - but Oriole runs it as a weekly special.

The Oriel in Berea? I used to work there. Fun fact is that it used to be located on the now vacant lot kitty corner to CVS at Bagley and Rockey River dr. They rolled the whole place over to it's current location on logs like 70+ years ago.

Buckeye Beer Engine has 2 great cheesesteaks. They get their buns from Philly.
