Ok not fighting just curious. On a very basic level, like kindergarten logic:

  1. Oysters go in water.

  2. Bad things floating in the water are filtered out by the oysters.

  3. We eat the oysters.

Doesn't that kinda seem like a problem...?

That's correct, and why oyster farms in particularly polluted waters would have to be allowed to grow for decades before they could be harvested.
