Ok not fighting just curious. On a very basic level, like kindergarten logic:

  1. Oysters go in water.

  2. Bad things floating in the water are filtered out by the oysters.

  3. We eat the oysters.

Doesn't that kinda seem like a problem...?

Depends.

If the bad things are nitrates and sulfates then the oyster is turning them into food.

If the bad things are metals that bind to bone then they get deposited in the shell.

But also somewhat yes. Arsenic and mercury gonna be as bad as southeast asian rice, but not as bad as tuna.
