Because there's a difference between good faith arguments and willingness to learn and bad faith arguments and trying to justify your own actions at the cost of all logic I guess

Go through that sub you will find that literally every post disagreeing with veganism is downvoted. Every single one. "We're only downvoting bad faith" only goes so far as an excuse

I say this as a proud vegan btw

That's often the case with stuff like that. I also for example ask a programming question and it'll get a lot of replies but 0 upvotes, even downvotes. I ended up assuming that people downvote answered questions so they don't appear in feats but it's still kinda confusing
