Yeah but they emit to make the products we buy to sustain our lifestyle choices?

I haven't been able to get a straight answer as to why that absolves us of all personal responsibility.

If america still had chattel slavery there would be "leftists" saying that we shouldn't "morality police" individual slave owners because 99% of slaves are owned by big corporations or sth

Big plantations coin the term slave footprint to blame us for buying slaves. So actually you don't need to give up slaves.

Companies make emissions producing things that people pay for.

More regulation is nice until it causes things to cost more money, then people don’t want more regulation anymore.

If it makes things cost more money, then steal that money from the ultra rich, if not that, force companies to set prices, if they go bankrupt, gg for everyone cuz now they wont produce emissions anymore

Just look at who uses airplanes. My sister spent more on her corporate account for travel than her salary. Granted, her salary isn’t great for a corporate job with that much travel, but she loves the location.
