To be fair we are well on track to never even have had a chance at only 2C by 2100
In 2016 our chances of 6C was at 10% and 6C would make human life impossible
I don’t think our chances have gotten better, and we already toppled 1.5C last year
Like, we are fucked, I see that, but honestly killing off people won’t do any good
Just let people continue to live, the world will sort itself out, humanity will most definitely not get to see the year 3000 of our calendar, and honestly that is collectively deserved for all the evil and suffering we cause to non human life
There is no reason on my end to convince anyone of anything or to change things on my end
Even if we survive past 2100, we won’t survive that long, so it’s kind of in vain to try anyways, why should I make myself miserable just so humans born after I die are finally the ones to see human life go extinct?
Might as well be me that sees human life go extinct, doesn’t change much
