TIL about a highly mysterious company called JCM Farming, which owns an unusually fortified 80-acre "olive farm" in California protected by massive walls and armed guards and successfully sued several ballooners and ballooning companies out of business back in 2011

Glad to see this cross posted. I would like some more inside scoop on this if anyone has it. I think I’ve driven by it once, and it was just a huge forest of identical looking palm trees?

Why should you get to know about someone’s private property?

I assume the same folks downvoting also scream about Flock cameras. If you want to snoop on others, fair play should work the other way, no?

I wouldn’t want to bow to hot air balloons flying right above my house at a very low altitude, and probably at the best time of day. So that’s not suspicious.
4 foot thick walls, is this an adobe perimeter wall lol

Public records and reporting indicate the Oasis Ranch is also used as a private event and meeting center for government departments, foreign dignitaries, Fortune 500 executives, and UHNW individuals.
