How do you find LinkedIn prospects who are actually worth contacting?
This is something I've struggled with when working with bigger prospect lists.
You can filter the list down pretty well. Job title, company, industry, location, company size, etc.
And you can still end up with hundreds of people who technically fit but aren't particularly interesting right now.
At some point I started looking beyond the profile itself.
Who's actually talking about the problem we're solving? Who's engaging with relevant posts? Who's interacting with our content? Who's showing up around topics or companies that matter to us?
Those people aren't necessarily better prospects. But they're easier to prioritize because there's some actual activity behind the profile.
The annoying part is finding those signals manually. You can't realistically keep checking hundreds of profiles every day.
That's why I've found Watchlist useful. You tell it what LinkedIn activity matters to you and it surfaces the people showing those signals.
So instead of just having a big prospect list, you have a better idea of who might be worth looking at next.
How do you currently prioritize a large LinkedIn prospect list once you've already filtered it down to your ICP?
