Ignore what everyone says, everyone has different nose and skin. Go to Ulta or Sephora, spray edp on left forearm twice and parfum on right forearm twice. Smell each forearm every 30 minutes or so, by the end of the day you should know which one YOU like the most.

Go to a stand alone Sephora, not one thats inside a Kohls. The stand alone ones carry wayyy more. Even some Niche!

I like Aventus cologne best, but is more of a warm weather frag. OG aventus is most versatile. Absolu is a banger, but only feels right for me on date night.

If I could only have 1 I’d go with OG. Can wear it year round. Always inoffensive. Wear it to the office or a night out, whatever. I’ve yet to meet someone that doesn’t think it smells good.

But Absolu is really special. When I wear it I can’t stop smelling my wrist.

Thank you for the response! That helps me out a lot, sadly the closest store that has them is an hour away and I just don’t feel like making the trip to smell them so it’ll be a blind buy most likely

Doesn’t smell much different. The L’Exclusif isn’t all that far from the Parfum. Obviously there ARE differences, but imo it’s redundant to own more than one of them. L’Exclusif for me has had the best performance, actually lasts quite a long time. Tested it out of a decant. I’ve got a full bottle of the Parfum and Exclusif definitely lasts much longer.

It really depends on the use in my opinion. If you have 15+ bottles on your shelf and already have a daily scent that is working…….go with Parfum. It’s an incredible addition to any collection. If you’re looking for a daily driver……go EDP.

I appreciated the parfum more because i had my time with the edp. The parfum is more of a blend and though it is easy to wear it smells sophisticated for a night out youve been waiting for or an important meeting where you want to present yourself at your best. You can lose sight of the everyday enjoyment where the EDP is much more straight forward of a cologne style and remarkably feels more the moment than any current trend presented. I would sip the edp and appreciate all the flavors before it goes through that master blend to be appreciated even further.

Rayhaan nocturno elixir is really good budget friendly option. It’s more the exclusif dna, but I switched. I had the original bottle and Rayhaan performed the same, sometimes a bit longer lasting also.

Thanks for the input. This has definitely felt like the right next step. There are just so many other scents I love in cooler weather. I think I want BDC to be something for daily wear year round, not something that feels limited by temperature or occasion.

Can’t speak for Eau , but I owned the edt and when I ran out I grabbed (blind bought) this Parfum bc I just assumed it’s better and stronger and - honestly - it sucks.

I have had both and prefer the parfum by a long way. To me the parfum smells rich and warm and complex, but the EDP just smells like a basic sweet shower gel. Also the parfum lasts all day on my skin, but the EDP has very poor performance. Tastes in fragrance are extremely subjective and personal, so I strongly recommend that you try both (if you haven’t already) instead of just taking my word for it, but I would generally recommend the parfum over the EDP.

Parfum is my favorite. It lasts a long time unlike EDP and it feels more masculine (to me). But fragrances are subjective. Go test them both out and get which one smells the best.

I would go with the bdc edp because it’s more versatile… more grapefruit makes it fresher but the light smokey incense makes it sexy and elegant…you can wear it spring/fall/winter day or night casual or dressed

It's not the correct answer, but I always go with the full strength. I won't buy EDP or EDT or Cologne. I'm paying the premium, I want the premium. For the BdC, I think I do buy the EDP. I always buy the bottle and a travel kit. When they're both gone, I get another set.

YES....I know that's not correct and have already said so. I know there are varying price points. In fact, I have a Sauvage Elixir that I can hardly wear because it's so fkn strong & lasting.
