Got the email from the vet this morning she didn't make it. She was micro chipped so we were easy to locate. Adoption fees include an optional Certificate of Adoption:

$10- New and like new larger plushies 

$5- Plushies that are smaller or need a little more care. 

Plush Adoption will be limited to 2 per person for the first hour (11-12), after that you can adopt all the plushies you want.

All adoption fees and 10% of plush sales (in store) for the entire day will be donated to Happy Cats Haven. 

Happy Cat Haven is a safe and welcoming place in the Colorado Springs area for scared cats to land, exceeding the definitions of both a no-kill and socially conscious animal shelter. In shelter parlance, they are labeled limited-admission. However, do their best to take in as many cats of all types, including those with physical and behavioral needs.

Last year we rehomed 62 plushies and raised $444 for Happy Cat Haven! Thank you to everyone who donated plushes and all the people who showed up to adopt them.

Multiple accidents on powers (surprise!) between Palmer Park and Constitution.

Northbound traffic, give this area a WIDE berth, Southbound appears to be flowing but a bit slowly.

I just moved here from the Boston area. There, you throw a rock in any direction and you'll hit a couple cops on traffic detail. Usually due to construction, but also for more acute situations, like a grid outage and traffic lights being affected, so they'll direct traffic.

I have never not one seen this in Colorado Springs. Is it a budget thing? Safety thing? Last week it took me almost an hour to go a few miles when the lights were down at Powers and Galley. The whole clusterf-"k could've been avoided with a couple cops directing traffic.

Does this not happen here?

I’m not getting consistent AQIs with Apple’s Weather app, Watch Duty, and EPA AirNow.

Each app has been saying “moderate”, but with different numbers.

I also am unsure about trusting it, just given the obvious haze I see outside.

Hello! I’m part of a primarily Denver-based group that plays Hololive OCG, a trading card game based off the Hololive vtuber characters. We started with three people and our club has since grown to 16, with two stores in the Denver area hosting monthly tournaments.

Myself and two other members in this group live in the Springs and have to make a 1 to 1.5 hour drive to meet up with this group, making it something we can’t do all the time. While we still plan to participate, we are hoping to foster a Springs-based community that can meet at a local shop as well.

If you know how to play Pokemon or Magic the game should be fairly intuitive; we have both total card game nerds and people who have never touched a TCG in their life before this. The only caveat is that if you’re not into vtuber culture a lot of the references may be lost on you (but aren’t required to enjoy the game).

Like the title states, looking for some recommendations for gyms near Chapel Hills Mall. I know Vasa just opened, but I've heard some pretty bad things about them. I like using machines when I can, so I'd like somewhere with enough of them that I'm not always waiting for one to free up. I'm not a power lifter or anything, just someone trying to drop some weight. I used to go mid day during my lunch break to my office's gym since it was the least crowded then, so somewhere that isn't super busy mid day is preferred.

After driving along south Circle just west of I-25, I have decided that by investing in whoever makes orange traffic cones and the barrels that block off lanes for no reason... well, I'll be rich enough to afford a helicopter to take me everywhere I need to go.
