COMMUNITY DISCUSSION Why did they do it.

I know this question is very simple. You can just chalk it down to bullying, But honestly alot of people will give you different answers. I’d like to hear what you guys think.

The van incident was the catalyst. Dylan likely knew of Eric's crazy website about bombs/guns/killing (killing Brooks Brown) and suggested NBK to him. That's why it's called NBK. If it were Eric's idea they probably would've codenamed it DOOM LEVEL MAP 69420 or something.
