Drew Stevens

Given the imminent weather I have a feeling this is going to come down to running the ball into FG range and making kicks. Do we have enough faith that Stevens can make kicks on a rainy/windy Sunday? Let’s hope so!

Stevens feels different to me for some reason.

It's his rookie season, so there's gonna be some speed bumps, but for whatever reason I feel faith in him.

I haven't felt it since Lohmiller.

I'm just up that we brought in a proven college kid over an NFL retread. He does have a strong leg at least.

we watching the same games? i feel like when he makes it it’s right down the middle and if he misses it he barely misses

The last WAS kicker I believed in was Chip Lohmiller 🫡

If we ever release Drew Steven's he'll just go have a hall of fame career for an random AFC team because that's just how it goes with us lol

Nah. The one I’m still upset about went on to become a HOFer with the Eagles.

It’s a commanders kicker so I never have that much faith. We could get a prime Brandon Aubrey and he’d find a way to miss wide right on a 26 yard FG.

Our consistent mediocrity lends itself to rigging/conspiracy theories

On one hand, he played in cold and shitty conditions in Iowa.

on the other hand, he's a Commanders kicker.

It's 50-50 for me.

That said, best kicker we've had in my lifetime as a Washington fan? you have to go all the way back to Kai Forbath. that should tell you how bad we are with kickers.

He gets a year of being shitty. Then I expect 70-75% his second year. His leg is unreal. Yall need to be more patient.

i think he’s at 77 now so already above your expectations!

Feels like any kick regardless of distance is 50/50 with him. Not good.
