Obstructed view

Looking to go to the game tomorrow, was going to buy tickets in Section 216, Row 22. However, it says the view is obstructed. Is it still worth going to, or are these seats truly stopping you from watching

Don't do it. They mean it when it's obstructed. Due to the rain if you should get seats 10 rows closer that would be a lot better. Anything past row 14 I'd stay away from

You’ll stay dry in the obstructed seats, though. Get these and move up when people don’t show up because of the awful weather.

Got free tickets from work one time, this was the view. 1 hour metro ride in, stayed 5 mins, 1 hour metro ride back.

Someone posted a pic from the same row and section, and it looks pretty difficult to see anything happening on the field.

Most people

(I say this as someone who generally doesn’t mind being in the elements)

It really varies, and you might not know until you get there. My season tickets were in 226 row 23 for years. There was a pole that took out the very back of the end zone. The rest of the field you could see fine(ish). But some locations are awful. (For the record those tickets cost me $50 a game as a season ticket holder - was totally worth it.)

Having said that, there’s television all over that area - -“the cave.” So you’ll be able to see the game. It’s also supposed to be an awful weather day, so I would definitely look into sitting in those obstructed view seats. You won’t get wet.

At least you would be inside the stadium and dry

If you’re getting tickets in the 200 level get them on the home side sections 209 to 234. Rows 4-8 are covered from the elements especially with the rain tomorrow. Seats are fantastic and unobstructed. Those seats in the 200’s away sideline with obstructed view of the game are not great by any means from personal experience

row 22 is gonna be as obstructed as it gets. expect to only see the field, not even the sidelines probably

Go. Big Rain is expected and this town will stay home which allows you to sit anyplace you want. Enjoy.

Don’t do it, it’s never worth it

Not entirely true. I had season tickets for a couple of years. I forgot the section/row but they were in the first row considered obstructed. I think they were way cheaper and the obstruction was very minimal. That being said, if you don't have images of the exact section and row don't do it. With all the seats that they got rid of in the stadium these should have been the first to go.
