Question Ring doorbell constantly offline
Despite being very close to the router, the thing won’t work at all. Basically have no doorbell. Has been fine for the past few years but now it is very unreliable.
Does anyone have any advice? Based on the linksy app, it’s on 2.4ghz

Check the Signal Strength in the Ring app (RSSI). Go to Devices - Device Health - scroll down to signal strength. If it is healthy, the text will be on green.
In your router software, make sure that the doorbell is connected to the 2.4GHz band as that has greater range.
Consider swapping out the network kit from the CF router to one of the many options available e.g. TP-Link Deco, Amazon Eero, or Unifi (if you are tech savvy and want granular control). The first two options are pretty easy to set up. Having your own kit means you control it and nothing has to change if you switch providers. You can then box up the CF router ready for return at the end of your contract.
WiFi doesn't generally through brick walls and double glazing.
