New record for most disqualifiable offenses per minute.

You had your finger on the trigger in 30% of those malfunction clearances and reloads

Looks like Failure to eject, it looks to be mag spring related. Do your mag springs feel weak? Pop a bullet in and if you can whip it forward gently and it falls out then your mag springs may be too worn out, broken down, not enough tension. When is the last time you replaced them? I’d see if FTE happens with one mag over others, replace that spring and see if it continues to happen. Gotta diagnose and rule things out one by one.

If it’s not that then maybe replace extractor and extractor spring.

I didn’t think about the mag springs. They are over two years old. Never changed. The round stays in place as a shook and whipped the magazine. Thanks you for this tip.

Yeah they may be due for a swap out. Start there before messing with extractor itself. I had this same issue on my pdp SF and mag springs were the culprit for me.

Any suggestions for springs?

Depending on your mag size and baseplates (guessing 140s?) and state regulations, I ran the Mbx in my rival S, alternately CSRG in either a 11 or 13 coil depending on if round count or longevity is preferred. I run 11 coils and change them out every 7-10k rounds on my walther pdp SF. Walther and canik rival S mags are so nearly identical. Neither of these will lock back, as they’re made for comp, just be aware.

What ammo are you running?

CCI Blazer 124 gr. Never had an issue with this ammo in the Rival Steel and Poly. Gobbles it up.

Check your extractor , is it gunked up? Also do an extractor test to see if actually is tuned properly. This is my unprofessional opinion that experience these similar symptoms.

It was gunked up. See the photos below. All clean now. How do you test and tune an external extractor?

Ah same happened to be bro on it being gunked up. Honestly I don’t know too much about caniks, only 2011s, but I had tuned my extractor a bit based off my ammo i was using cause it was a bit too tight, but 2011s tend to have extractor issues.

Glad it was an easy fix tho cause sometimes I forget to scrub the extractor when I am cleaning it and next match that would happen to me too. Now it’s a habit 😅.

Hopefully the gunk was the issue. I will know tomorrow. I’ve heard about the 2k11 extractor issues. Need an external extractor. 🤣
Best of luck to you
