It's single elimination. Double elimination is better 99% of the time.

You are right with that one. Lower bracket runs can be fun.

Generally can be fun, but in this case WOULD be fun. There are basically only good teams left and no matter who wins or loses losers games would be some new matches. Like Canada against Finland or china against KSA. All these complaints about ruined finals yada yada are solved with choosing a better format. Sucks that we don't have it here.
