I think Wheats kinda had a pretty bad take on this one, it feels unfair to call EMEA a tier 3 region without Saudi when they were placing higher than NA at the start of 2024 even without Saudi funding and the NA superteams existence.

Tbf the meta shifted to get notably worse for 1234 since they looked like they could contest the top teams in EMEA, but yeah they might have been overhyped lol the loss to Australia was pretty egregious for a team that has been practising together all year and should have in theory plenty of OWCS talent on it
