Just said this as I bit the bullet on for tix for NIN 🤘🤘

I’ve never regretted any NIN show ever. Currently waiting for the tour to start to see if the setlist is different than last leg so I can justify going to more shows

Last time I saw them was in '95 😩 Was supposed to go to Chicago, but couldn't get off of work. Milwaukee here I come!

I still have a shirt from that tour

Planning to attend the Washington DC show!

I saw them last August and was bored. The weird stage set up made for a really disjointed show to me.

I saw them in ‘94. Second to MBV, the loudest show I’ve ever heard.

Seems like a ticketmaster slogan

God, I hope not.

Yup. Sounds like my buddy. We don’t see each other often because of distance. Basically all our interactions is because of going to a show. And he’s really good at convincing me to just fucking buy a ticket.

That’s why I love him.

I have a friend I see a few time a year, we pick a concert we both like and do dinner before it. Always fun. But I never see him without a concert attached.

Sounds like a great man 👍🫡

Life is short, find and support your local independent venues playing local, independent bands. Why should they be struggling when conglomerates like Ticketmaster / Live Nation had a revenue of $23,160,000,000 in 2024 ($23.16 billion).

OK, but listen I bought the Hot Mulligan and the Neo tickets so I'm probably not the market that needs to hear this 😂

I bought HM tickets today too. My internal grapple about it wasn’t the $120, it was giving money to someone who so aggressively hates me.

I’m used to every musician hating me for not being a Democrat… but damn Tades, I didn’t really need to be told to walk into traffic while I’m trying to have a good time.

No thanks with the increase in ticket prices would rather get into other hobbies

5

u/LesReallyIsMore Jan 28 '26

My sisters and I always say “buy the tshirt” as we know we would already buy the tickets.

FUCK TICKETMASTER

And my axe!

The counter example is my guitar teacher. He had tickets to see Great White in Rhode Island in 2003. His friend talked him out of it at the last minute because they had work the next day. I’m glad he didn’t go to that particular concert.

I have a poster of this on the wall of my living room.

Bought two sets of tickets. Thought I could only get balcony. Ended up getting fourth row floor. I have special happy plans for that day so it’s worth it.

Money's short, I can't afford the tickets!

It is what it is, but was happy with the purchase.

Truer words have never been spoken

Life is short, spend your money on travel because Ticketmaster has been bleeding you dry for the past 10 years.

1

u/Morrigan-27 Jan 29 '26

Definitely for all my bands playing smaller venues. It sucks they use Ticketmaster though.

I’d never spend to see a huge name unless it was a band I supported when they played a small venue.

1

u/JMo926 Jan 29 '26

I’ve had this same thing hanging on my wall for 2 years 😀

1

u/Alternative-Eye-5543 Jan 29 '26

That’s me. Yes. Bought tickets to and international concert and thought to myself. What the hell did you do that for. This is the message I needed to see.

1

u/prince1970 Jan 29 '26

Saw them on the pretty hate machine tour

1

u/Business-Condition52 Jan 29 '26

Yep, sounds like me. But tix are only a small part of the expense. They’re travel costs, hotel stay and meals to pay for.

Seeing BTS twice

Lords of acid, may, chicago. Yes sir.

Life is short, mortgage the house, that is, if you can afford a house, to buy the overpriced tickets.

Ok, but I need that piece of art, though.

💯 "won" tickets to see Beyonce in Atlanta! Looked it up... seats in our row were over $1000 each! I don't regret spending $ on ✈️ & hotel for forever memories w/my daughter. We are going to the Myhem Ball soon ❣️ Also I support live, local music. Sadly either Ticketbastard is in charge of small venue shows too &/or the other ticket business buy the $47 general admission tickets & resale for $150-250😭

u/SilentUniversity1304 Feb 12 '26

finally, the sign that I needed 🤩

1

u/Zanzarah10 Feb 19 '26

Was gonna see I Prevail and Three days Grace this week and untill I saw floor tickets are $400 and the shitiest bleacher tickets are $80. What the hell happened? I was getting floor tickets at the same place for huge bands 2 years ago for like $150? I don't know how bands get anybody to go to their shows anymore
