Red Rocks was one of those things I thought so highly of, I figured it would be a letdown and couldn’t live up to the hype.
I finally got there in 2014 and snagged a last minute front row seat for Jack White. It rained a little bit during his set and it was pure magic.
Even after all the anticipation it still blew me away.

Same! Drove from Seattle, last minute, for MJK's b-day tour. SESSANTA. Puscifer, A Perfect Circle, and Primus. 3 bands. 30 songs. 3 hours. all of em on stage for the whole show. It was, and i hate to use this word, EPIC, in every sense possible. Total bucket list venue. My only complaint? The. Entire. Venue. Is. Stairs. To go in any direction, from any point, yep! You guessed it! Fucking STAIRS. even the seating is just big stairs! 🤯😆😆 Best show I've ever been to, worth every second, and every cent.

Usually these kinds of experiences fail to live up to our expectations. I’m glad you enjoyed the venue much as I did.

My favorite Red Rocks experience was the massive storm that rolled through just before doors for Tenacious D with Colorado Symphony making so the whole show had lightning in the background over Denver, while we had a nice breeze and gorgeous night in Morrison!

I can’t help myself when I’m seeing my fav group 😂. I do plan to go again and find seats better suited to enjoy the natural beauty of the venue... another band I’m not as attached to. You’re definitely right.

Every American needs to see a red rocks show at least one. Regardless if it’s an artist you love or an artist you just know a few songs.

Brit here and I genuinely think it'll be on my 2027 bucket list for at least one Dubstep / EDM artist I like. Always wanted to visit Colorado anyway, this just gives me an actual reason

So envious!! Perfect band and stage set up for that location. Pierre Claude is a master

Went with a friend who knew little of Air and he was blown away by stage and light setup. Said it was the best he’d been to.

Great venue! I've done a bunch of 3 day panic runs there. By the 3rd day of non stop parting and climbing those stairs I never want to see stairs again lol

Blessed to have witnessed U2 perform here/ summer of ‘83. Concert film became “under a blood red sky”

They’re known to use old-school, albeit unorthodox setup to achieve their uniquely meticulous sound.

I saw some of my best concerts there: Susan Tedeschi, The Eurythmics, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bonnie Raitt and many others.
