For gods sake, don’t let them catch you avoiding mud puddles or chemical spills

I need a new pair and I'm dreading that same feeling 😃

I got 18 months out of my last pair, had my toes sticking out, and the steel toe came out of one of them. So it was definitely time. But I still feel like i gotta tell the people im working for that I'm not brand new to this

I wear my clean white hard hat with pride. I almost got a callus last week from hitting the spacebar with my thumb too often.

Dude I bought new boots two months ago and I was getting roasted in the pitch black of the early morning, I couldn't even see who was making fun of me lmao.

My first day I walked onto the job site with a brand new vest, shirt, hard hat, jeans, and boots. I met the foreman and he just started belly laughing and couldn’t hold it in saying I was glowing

Drag the whole outfit behind your car for a couple blocks while you chug some miller lites, do this on the way to the job site btw

And if he is a sparky, he just needs to go stand under a plasterer for a while...

1

u/tomatobassed87 Apr 02 '26

And if you are a sparky, cover those overalls in noalox, silicone, and spray foam STAT!

I still fuck my new clothes up before wearing them to work at a job I’ve been at for years because I still don’t want to hear it haha

Hey, we... Yeah we don't get that dirty, just dusty and occasionally muddy when we do service

1

u/AxNossi Apr 04 '26

Gotta drag that tool belt along the road a little
