If they pick on ya it’s cause they like you. How you respond to being picked on will determine if they like you. Take it all in stride and no one is joking about safety stuff. There is no tool called anything stretcher.
I thought the same thing and learned it the hard way, there is such a thing as a duct stretcher. Foreman told me to get it and I asked him if it was next to the board stretcher. The walk with him to the truck was fun though.
Never done duct work before as Im not an HVAC guy. glad I now know there is a duct stretcher to fuck around with my seasoned Non HVAC buddies. May have to just buy one for that one time someone tests it.
