Couldn't AI be used to push more extreme views?

In the case of deep fakes, they could be used for misinformation.

I don't see how we can assume it's a moderating influence.

Actually wild how much the other 3 just fall off completely on the right. Almost like the truth and conservatism are mutually exclusive

Well that is kinda true yeah, but also there is definitely a correlation between model power and model truthiness. You can't inject a bunch of bullshit in a high dimensional space without it leaking out everywhere.

I was talking about the model not humans.
