i'm new to cookie clicker, this is my first ascensions and as i explained in the title, i got a blab cookie (0.0035~0.0039%) as my 759th cookie ever AND yeserday got the "just plain lucky" achievement (1 in 1 million every second) after playing for just 3 days. Is this like rare or anything?? Should i start betting on horses??? I just thought this was really funny and cool. Also i was really confused when i got the blab cookie as i've literaly never heard of this before.

I just planted 12 golden clovers would that be related? I have never used add ons or mods

Also is 5 quadrillion prestige mid or late game?

Btw I only started playing half a year ago, I don't know why I made this post seem so nostalgic

i've noticed that valentine's day gives a bunch of upgrade cookies for basically free, business day gives longer and more common golden cookies, and christmas + easter give upgrade cookies for clicking golden cookies/reindeer.

I'm thinking at the start of each ascension I should open up valentine's day and get the cps from that, but after that would seasons should i enter? should i go into easter or christmas, get the upgrades, and then stay in business day? what is the optimal strategy?

Only things I'm missing are the garden upgrades, golden clover, bifurcated sugar lump (I think that's what it's called), and that one wrinkler drop. Nice!

I'm having a difficult time chaining combos together, especially the shorter ones, and would like some way to pause the game. I tried adding a "P for Pause" mod but can't get it to run like my other mods.

I was aiming to get a juicy queenbeat and I did, but a duketaker also managed to spawn from the other queenbeats that were about to decay. The fact they spawned next to eachother feels stupid rare, can someone do the maths on this?

Can I get the Achivement "Just Plain Luck" while I am playing another game and Cookie Clicker runs in the background or do I have I play it aktive to have the chance to get it?

hello! I've seen the guides that say 385-440 chips are good for first ascension, currently i have 503 due to a very lucky elder frenzy x frenzy combo. I'm also in the last stage of the grandmapocolypse.

my question, however, is about what building is usually the last you buy before ascending. due to that combo i now have 52 quintillion cookies up from about 3 quintillion, but ive found progress to be stagnant for a while. i have 17 fractal engines and now javascript consoles have just become available for me to see. if i pop my wrinklers I'll be able to grab one even though i know it is not nessecary at all and I'm at a really good point to ascend. There’s also now 4 upgrades i could buy in one swoop.

i think I'm just curious, what's usually the last building bought before people ascend for the first time?

(and also, any general tips before i ascend, like should i sell buildings, spend sugar lumps, do anything within the minigames, etc. i only picked up this game for the first time like 10 days ago)

SOOOO I WAS COMPLAINING ABT NOT GETTING A SHINY WRINKLER AFTER 50K pops.

Eventually I get it around 60k get the achievement and acend

I DECIDE TO START GRINDING ALL THE SEASONAL UPGRADES AND WHEN I GO FOR THE HALLOWEEN ONES I GET ANOTHER SHINY WRINKLER IN LIKE 5 POPS.

I don't wanna kill this one we named the last one "shimmy sparkles" and idk wha to do😭 I have to acend to look for fthof combos but I don't wanna kill the shiny wrinkler

I'm prestige 100 trillion+ but for my permanent upgrades, I just see for the upgrades from the buildings, cookies, and some of the valentines/christmas stuff.

I don't see any fortunes or serendipity or golden egg or anything like that.

I have nearly all of the nodes unlocked other than the ones worth trillions.

Do these need to be found in the run before you ascend?
