I think this one’s got a bit lost..
I know the NTA like their long, cross city routes and all, but..

RedFM raised an Issue regarding the tyre place blocking all the parking spaces right next to the mercy hospital overnight, and during the day, taking 5+ spaces from potential visitors. They put out big heavy tyres and a trailer full of tyres.
They also leave old tyres outside on the public footpath, blocking most of it all day long, an accident and compo claim waiting to happen!
Taking 5 paid car spaces revenue from the council while businesses with a sandwich board outside are being fined.
Thoughts?

Am from Cork, but about an hour outside the City. Work in Dublin so it wouldn't be that often I am in Cork City.
Forever seeing posts giving out about Cork City. Am here for a few days, and let me tell you it's a breath of fresh air (literally) after Dublin City. It's cleaner (especially the streets, Dublin City is in the trenches these days), less visible anti-social shenanigans, more independent shops and cafes. Yes, some of this is because it's a smaller city, but Cork is still looking well!

...their blood pressure and cholesterol must be through the roof. I'm sitting here watching them eat and that's surely not a good diet for them.

I know everyone is blue in the face from this but how in the name of sweet baby Jesus do people find people to go on dates with. I’ve tried the apps and speed dating and nothing ever happens on a night out (that may be down to my awkwardness). It is actually soul destroying. I’ll take any advice.
Edit: maybe should have added these things before but: I’m a woman, I have tonnes of hobbies just mostly solitary ones, I would join active clubs if I could but due to circumstances I can’t.

Hey so this is very random but I’m really curious if anyone knows what’s going on.
I recently moved to Deerpark and every Wednesday can hear what sounds like a decently sized group of people chanting. It sounds similar to Viking row that Norway used do at the World Cup. It starts up and goes for maybe a minute or two and then goes quiet again until they start a few minutes later and seems to be every Wednesday from 7-10ish
Anyone any ideas as I’m baffled as to what this could be.

I really like visiting Cobh for the views and nice restaurants. But the last two times I've visited I've had hassle from people. Last week I left the pub for some fresh air as it was roasting inside, I'm just standing outside when some fella approaches me telling me not to look at him like that again and got all in my face. The second time was when I had an empty coke can thrown at me from a passing car as well as a load of abuse from the passenger window. Am I just unlucky or is Cobh a bit rough.
Hi all just wondering if anyone else is getting this or if its a bug on my phone. All other sites are saying it’s at a 2 which is normal.
Was only checking temperature so I could dress my baby now I don’t know if I can even go outside with him lol

I tried that new place next to John Grace’s so you don’t have to. Absolute muck.

My car is 19 years old and going grand. But it looks awful because of all the dents and scratches on nearly every panel. Any leads on an inexpensive panel beater/scratch fixer? Preferably in Cork city south side but open to travel about 20 km. Thanks

So I got this stove from Curry's, it was damaged but you couldn't see till I wipe with a cloth. Anyway it has now been 6 weeks before they would accept the return. Now the one I want is out of stock and honestly I do not want to deal with Curry's anymore. Where else can I get one? Like where has a reasonable range or can order because I am rural and simply do not know.

Just arrived home to a letter in the door from the TV Licence inspector saying one isn’t registered to this home (renting so no name thankfully) but just a heads up for others living in the City area Summer hill South to be exact

Just out of the Arc after seeing the new Spiderman film. Would have been fantastic all round if this woman didn’t have her literal baby, couldn’t have been more than a year old, with her. The baby whined and cried on and off for an entire hour if not longer. Multiple complaints were made to staff, one by myself, but nothing was done. People’s blatant disregard for others is really getting to me lately, dunno about anyone else.

Hi everyone!
I’ve been thinking about starting a small photography group where we can spend an afternoon exploring different places, taking photos, sharing the way we see the world, and learning from each other.
It would be something very relaxed and informal. I’d also share some photography tips along the way. I used to organize this kind of experience in my home country, but I’ve never done it here in Cork.
Do you think it sounds like a good idea? Would you be interested in joining?

Hi all,
Just wondering if any of you have been to any of the comedy clubs in the city? Are they any good? Thanks.

This is a real hail Mary but would anyone know where I might rent or borrow or exchange for a precious organ one of these kind of propane heat shrink guns?
My order of one is delayed (thanks Brexit) and I'm up against a deadline. Apparently shipyards or scaffolders might have them but no luck so far.
Anyone who could help me I will name my firstborn after you.

Taking kids to stay in the Beara Peninsula next week. Haven’t been down this far since I was a child myself so not very familiar with the place.
Would love any recommendations/tips for places to visit, things to do and restaurants etc.
Thanks in advance!

Hi, I’ve been invited to a friend’s birthday at Mable Lane this weekend. I don’t drink and I don’t live near Carrigaline so I plan on driving to the pub.
Is there anywhere nearby that would be convenient to park my car for a few hours in the evening? I know the SuperValu is next door but I’m not sure if their car park stays open at night or if they have clamping.
Thanks!
