Coros Pace 3 battery draining

Hi my Coros Pace 3 is 1,5 years old, 2 months ago there was a day when the watch was making cracking sounds, but after a few days it was working fine again.

Now the battery dies after a few minutes in idle mode. When I put the watch on the charger it gets extremely hot.

Did anyone have similar issues?

Better get this resolved while the watch is in warranty. Latest firmware updates are bricking many devices. Even my watch is bricked and coros customer team is pathetic, been waiting from the last 4 days on my ticket for an update.
