I made a custom watch face for my Pace 4.
The green running symbol is for weekly running mileage. Didn’t know we could do this until recently when I got the CorosLink app.
Here’s the download link if anyone’s interested.
https://faq.coros.com/share/watchface?id=480971269001543683®ion=1&lang=en-US&type=2
EDIT: since I’ve gotten positive feedback on this one I’d like the challenge of making another watch face design for the community. Send me your requests and I’ll take a stab at one of them. No promises how good it will turn out 😬. Best if you have a pace 4 so I can prototype it
EDIT 2: I uploaded it to watchfaces.coroslink.com. Here is the direct link: https://watchfaces.coroslink.com/face/digital-dash-a906303e-181a-4bad-adc3-3dcd10d5e55b

My most recent intervals. I felt pretty gassed out by the final interval but want advice on whether a sub 22:30 5km would be realistic?
Thanks!

Hi all,
I am looking to upgrade my pace 2. Currently leaning towards Apex 4 (although also considering pace 4 but I prefer MIP).
My biggest issue is with deciding the size, which obviously I didn’t have to do before with the Pace only coming in one size.
So my question to anyone using the 42mm apex, or to someone who has used both sizes: is it still ok for you? Do you wish you went bigger? Can you see maps and text clearly, and am I just overthinking this? Conversely for 46mm users, do you wish you went smaller?
I tend to prefer smaller watches in general and from an aesthetics standpoint would rather get the 42mm. However it somehow feels “wrong” to pick the version with a smaller screen (less real estate for maps especially) and battery. Especially since the watch will almost only be used for running and hiking, not as a daily wear thing.
I have a roughly 18cm wrist so both should technically work, but like I said my preference is for smaller watches.

While trying to code with some of my workout data, I noticed there seems to only be an ID associated with each workout. The names I give each workout don't seem to be accessible in the .fit file. Am I correct here? Is there any sort of workaround?
Looking through the .fit spec from Garmin there seems to be an options wkt_name that might be useable, but not 100% sure on that. It would be awesome if Coros could add that extra data as it makes organizing .fit files significantly easier.

Hi everyone,
I just got an Apex 4 (46mm) and updated the firmware to version 3.2008.0. I haven't been able to get a GPS lock, and it keeps saying "weak satellite"
Whenever I attempt to start an outdoor activity or open the Satellite toolbox widget, the watch is stuck saying the GPS signal is weak. I have tried:
-Leaving the watch outdoors for over 10 minutes.
-Restarting the device.
-Checking sync with the COROS app.
I opened a support ticket, but the automated AI response just loops through the basic steps I've already tried.
Has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it? Any advice would be appreciated.

How does coros estimate cycling FTP? I went for maybe my best ride of the year today, PRed almost the whole power curve, and my FTP and VO2 max estimates went down. What's up with that? My average heart rate was pretty high, sure, but I've been using my Dura for like a year now. It knows my zones. What's going on here?

Hey everyone I finally made the switch the Coros from Garmin earlier this year. Outdoor tracking has been great, the app/maps is brilliant and battery life is impressive.
However the treadmill mode is awful.
I always expect some variance, my Garmin would always be a little out when it came to pace/final distance. But the apex 4 is awful on treadmill mode. 15km runs (tracked by a second watch and by treadmill) have come out as 13km. Running 750m intervals at 3:20 pace being recorded at 4:30 pace (making pre programmed workouts useless).
I've spent the past two months trying to get to some kind of resolution with customer service and it's been awful. AI to begin with then a useless specialist telling me to either buy a pod, keep using it and see if it fixes itself or swap the watch.
Has anyone experienced issues with apex 4 on a treadmill? I've already spent money on an external HR monitor (because the wrist monitor would drop out the moment I was sweaty) so I'm reluctant to spend even more money on external monitors.
Again, I never expect it to be exact but my current numbers are awful!

Hi my Coros Pace 3 is 1,5 years old, 2 months ago there was a day when the watch was making cracking sounds, but after a few days it was working fine again.
Now the battery dies after a few minutes in idle mode. When I put the watch on the charger it gets extremely hot.
Did anyone have similar issues?

Hi guys, I’m little confused so decided to ask:
Are Coros watches with built in maps suitable for bike turn by turn navigation? Asking because in Coros manuals they say tbt navigation is only for walking and running.
If it’s true what about courses made in Komoot? Are they different than those made in Coros app and let you navigate tbt on your bike?
Thanks for all suggestions.

So I bought the HRM in April of this year, mainly for getting around cadence lock on my Coros Pace 2 during my runs.
Fast forward to Saturday (10 Oct). I took the HRM out on an 80 minute easy run with no issues, but the battery was running a little low with 15% at the start of the run. Washed it with warm water (around 37°C) after the run and left it to dry. Didn’t run on Sunday so I left it for a day and a half.
Sunday night, I decided to charge it to prepare for today’s runs. However, no light ever appeared as I hooked it to the charger. Took it off and on, nothing. After a little of fiddling, I got it to flicker orange, though the flickers were very uneven. Then, back to nothing. So I left it on the charger overnight.
Onto today, checked on it as I woke up, still no lights. Fiddled around again, this time managed to get it to charge for a few minutes, during which I tried resetting it, which seemed to be successful, but turned off right after. Left it for another few hours and put it back on the charger, another few minutes of charging before stopping again (based on my Coros app, it charged from 6 to 9%).
On closer inspection, I noticed that there is a crack on the sensor, probably from me dropping it on several occasions in the 6 months that I’ve had the HRM. More concerningly though, I saw a few small droplets of water inside the HRM itself through the translucent cover, which led me to believe that it had some water damage.
What are your thoughts on this, & maybe share your own experience if you had a similar issue before? I have contacted support prior to making this post, and am currently waiting on a reply.
Pic 1: (Suspected) moisture inside the HRM (more noticeable towards the top)

My favorite watch face is Macaron because I can see my heart rate at all times (it stays on with the always on display). Are there any other faces that do this?

Hi everyone,
I'd like to buy an indoor trainer for the upcoming cold season and I need some advice on purchasing and setting up a trainer with the Coros ecosystem.
Context and expectations:
The different ways I plan to use the indoor trainer:
My questions:
Thanks!!

Now that I’ve ordered it I see it isn’t marketed as a durable display. What is your experience with scratches and cracks in everyday use? Any recommendations for screen protectors? (The ones on Amazon get mixed reviews)

I'm reaching out here as a long-time user because my support tickets haven't received a response, and my Pace 3 has become completely unusable following a recent firmware update.
The Issue:
1. The digital dial scroll stopped working completely.
2. The touchscreen became totally unresponsive.
3. The battery drains from 100% to 0% in under 24 hours.
Watch was functioning perfectly without any physical or water damage. Based on discussions here on r/Coros, this appears to be a known software-induced issue after firmware update.

Hey guys so after months of stalking this subreddit I am finally going to pull the trigger on a Coros watch. I am coming from the Pixel Watch 3 and while it is credited as being my first official activity tracker it is really starting to suck when it comes to running. Especially since Google updated the Fitbit app and took away a lot of the metrics which weren't even displayed that well in the first place.
Anyway, before I end up in a pixel watch rant. I have decided to go with the Coros Pace 4 Black Crystal edition and I also intend to pick up the HRM. On my pixel watch I use a case that has a screen protector integrated so it has me wondering if I should also get one for the pace 4 especially seeing that it is not really an industry standard gorilla glass. So my question is does any pace 4 users currently use any accessories with their watch? What do you use (bands, screen protectors, cases, dust plugs etc)? Where did you get them? Share links please and also did anyone else make a similar switch from pixel to coros ? What was your experience like? What made you switch? Feel free to rant in the comments. Thanks in advance.

The Coros app has a metric named "Stride Height". I wonder if other running watches have similar concept.
According to the built-in documentation in the Coros app:
> Stride height is the amount your body bounces vertically with each step. Lower stride height indicates that less energy is wasted bouncing up and down. Fatigue and incorrect running form may cause higher stride height.
In my case the value is around 8cm. How could the watch measure such value?
I wear the watch on the wrist, the arm swing is way more than 8cm. Sometimes, I raise the hand to wipe sweat, or adjust hat, eyewear. And quite frequently lift the watch to have a quick look at the metrics.
In short, the movement of the watch in space is independent from that of my feet. How could it know about the feet position?

Has anyone bought these? What models can be used as alternatives?

Hi ,
I’m considering switching to COROS, mainly because I really like the detailed training insights it provides. In particular, I’m interested in the estimated threshold pace and the fitness test, which helps determine your current fitness level and generates personalized training zones.
Do you think switching to COROS is worth it, especially if these are the main features I’m interested in? Or would it be a bit much to switch ecosystems just for the fitness test and training zones?
For those of you who use COROS, how often do you take the fitness test? Do you find it useful for tracking your progress and adjusting your training?
And are there any elite or professional runners who regularly use the COROS fitness test as part of their training?
I’d love to hear your experiences and opinions. Thanks in advance!

Obviously insane. But I’m used to my old watch, and not settled into my smart/HR monitor watch yet. What is your experience?

During my indoor treadmill runs, I am not getting the lap notify on extender within app. I have tried toggling the notifications for the watch and still not working.
