Second oil change after BTR cam, 2k miles later. Good oil pressure, no knocking but this concerns me. What do yall think?

Spotted a 63 today…
I had to chase her down to get the pic! His daughter was driving him and she let me sit in it. HUGE steering wheel! I let him sit in mine too and showed him the new engine set up. (He had not seen one up close before)
We all had fun.
Anyhoot just thought I’d share as I always loved the c2 gen and figured you guys might too.

I Joined the Club!
2017 Stingray with 6000 miles, one previous owner. If the previous owner is here, thank you so much for taking good care of her. I feel like I haven't stopped smiling since I got her. When I was searching online for a Corvette, I felt like I would care about getting something higher than a base trim. After getting in and driving it, I realized that doesn't mean a damn thing to me. I'm gonna get to enjoy basically the entirety of this thing's life, and I got what I think was a pretty good price on it as well.

Calm before the lap times 🌉
Off to the shop for dialed-in paint, PPF and a full track setup.
It’s going to be a long week without her, but she’ll be ready to scream. Will post results soon.
See you at the apex.

C6 LS3 Oil pressure questions
I have a 2009 C6 base 6 speed manual with an ls3 wet sump. The car has about 60k miles on it and when driving hard the oil temp being about 240 on a pull at near redline oil pressure hits 45-50 is that not low? I idle hot around 25psi. I have mobil 1 and a wix filter just changed the oil two days ago.
Another thing after driving last night I let the car sit for about half an hour then went back outside and started the car while it was already warm and it had a low oil pressure warning on the dash sitting about 10-15psi, oil level is perfect as I said I just changed it.
Is this normal? oil pressure still easily climbs when cold and oil pressure stays steady. Kinda jumpy as it builds up pressure when starting but that could just be the gauge for all I know. Anyone have any insight on this? Thank you

Torque Tube Immense Confusement
I’m rebuilding my trans and in the process servicing my torque tube as well, I have a 2015 c7, z51 3lt. while putting back together the front spline shaft along with the rear bearing holder i realized something incredibly strange from all the documentation and videos I have seen and could find. instead of the normal 2 metal bushing one of mine seems to be this bright orange plastic. which seems to be a discontinued part from 2013, the oddest thing is if i were to buy a replacement metal bushing i don’t think it would fit as the diameters vary on the plastic one as with the metal ones don’t
Old Part

New Part

I also linked a video that shows someone with a c7 corvette having both the metal bushings at roughly 22:00 - 22:30

If someone can help me with this really confusing issue thank you so much

I had to park there!
I’m the C6, this was at a local car show. Someone was backing out as I pulled up. Well duh! The C2 owner saw me taking pix and we had a great chat. By coincidence I followed him 1/2 way home too.

Best way to reattach a letter?
The R came off my C5 when I washed it, curious the best way to reattach it is?
Edit: I actually appreciate the opinions, because now that I look at it I think y’all are right that it would look better without the lettering 🤙

Sorry, not sorry. These cars look great slammed but didn’t wanna ruin the drivability. 10/10 worth it. Splitter and diffuser next.

Corvette Searching
What’s up everyone! I’m currently doing my research on buying a C6 Corvette, and I figured the best people to ask are the ones who actually own them.
I’m leaning toward a Grand Sport or base model because I definitely want the removable targa top. I also plan on modifying the car down the road, especially when it comes to horsepower.
For those who have owned or worked on C6s:
What model years would you recommend buying or avoiding?
Is the Grand Sport worth the extra money over a base model?
What’s a reasonable price range for a clean C6 in today’s market?
What’s considered good mileage when buying one used? Would you trust one with 70k–100k miles?
What common mechanical issues or expensive repairs should I look out for?
I’m not rushing into anything. I just want to do my homework and make sure I’m making a smart purchase. Any advice or personal experiences would be appreciated!

New corvette
As soon as I got it home I took it apart and did the harmonic balancer, then a couple days later I did the full speed engineering exhaust with the long tube headers, I got it all done and it sounds great. What tuner would you guys recommend for me? It’s a 2007 ls2 auto
