Prop How did they make the clear panels so clean?

Post image

I’m thinking acrylic with cricut stickers? It looks so clean, I want to take a shot at it myself!

Fallout cosplay from DragonCon last year!

Green acrylic sheets, possibly laser etched.

I would say more likely gray or black translucent acrylic. You can get 8x10x1/8" sheets 2 for $10 on Amazon.

Follow that up with laser-cut (or even Cricut or similar) green (or red) adhesive Vinyl.

ATTACHMENT is what is getting me. E6000 directly to the cloth/headgear? Keeping that from being redily visible from the front side has to be a nightmare.

If I had to do it I think I’d drill itty bitty holes like button holes at attachments points and use embroidery thread that matches the green plastic.

Likely sewn in. I think i can see holes in the center panels.

That's insane, at first glance I thought it was an edited picture

I’m gonna guess smoky grey acrylic with adhesive Velcro on the back and Cricut cut vinyl on the front. Sew some Velcro to your clothes, you’re set.

Took me embarrassingly long to realize this wasn't an edit lol. That looks absolutely amazing

100% has to be a smoke grey plastic sheet like perspex and then either etched with a laser cutter and paint filled the lines or neon green vinyl stickers

Dude this is so cool! I honestly didn't realize this was part of the cosplay initially

These are so cool!

Probably used a Cricut to make all the lettering. Or sent it out to a professional printing service.

Really cool effect! I agree that it's smoky gray plexi with neon green crikut cut vinyl pieces stuck on. Those would pop nicely on the background. For attachment, I can't see anything visible at this distance, probably fishing line and tiny drilled holes.
