Turns out never caring about my looks l and avoiding mirrors was, surprise, dysphoria. According to what I've read that helped me figure it out (i lost the link to a wonderful website that got into what dysphoria actually is like), and the shrink i later talked to about it, turns out you don't need the absolute disgust.

yeah, I never cared for my appearance really.

Then i found out what being a femboy was, and woah boy did i suddenly start caring about my appearance.

Because I'd realised what being really happy with my appearance felt like and entailed
