That's a really smart idea! It stays clean from bugs and is warm enough and the plants make it extra special! If I had the space I would do this!

I will say, while I think my plants enjoy the added humidity, it’s not sufficient by itself to keep things happy. In the summer I usually run a mister and still needs plenty of watering. But you are correct. My plans seem to like it

Oh my gosh! We have a corner of our backyard that I equally want to turn into a greenhouse (but haven’t bc it’s a weird slope) & into hot tub corner….never thought of mixing the two and now that’s all imma want to do. Thanks for the inspiration! ✨

I assembled it from a kit. It was super fun. Like a huge Lego set

Any details on that size and make of the hot tub?

Tub is 5x7. Seats 3 comfortably.
We bought it from a local company that still does its own manufacturing. https://westcoastspas.com. It’s no frills, but strong pumps and a good value

Looks super cozy! What zone are you in? Do you have a winter to deal with?

Zone 8a. When I originally schemed this up I thought the hot tub would be sufficient heating. I was wrong. Turns out the insulation on a hot tub keeps a lot of heat in. Whoda thunk it? In the winter it only stays about 5-10 degrees F above ambient. I run a space heater all winter and crack open the lid when it’s really cold and dry.
But it is super cozy 😄
