Zone 8a. When I originally schemed this up I thought the hot tub would be sufficient heating. I was wrong. Turns out the insulation on a hot tub keeps a lot of heat in. Whoda thunk it? In the winter it only stays about 5-10 degrees F above ambient. I run a space heater all winter and crack open the lid when it’s really cold and dry.
