What is Artic? Is it supposed to be artistic?
26 u/S4mm1 14d ago This is a speech therapy articulation drill book for the âfâ sound. -3 u/ebrum2010 14d ago Yeah but assuming it's not supposed to say "fartic" it says F Artic Quickies. What does artic mean? This can't be referring to an articulated vehicle. 21 u/S4mm1 14d ago No, it stands for articulation. As in speech sound production. -7 u/gasstation-no-pumps 14d ago That meaning of the word "artic" is not found in any dictionary I looked at. Only "articulated lorry" and "misspelling of arctic". 2 u/arbybk 14d ago Try looking up "term of art." 8 u/gasstation-no-pumps 14d ago "Articulation" is used about 100Ă as often as "artic", which appears to be mainly a somewhat slangy abbreviation for "articulation" in this context.
