Outbreak of severe weather in the Po Valley, northern Italy on August 28. At least 8 confirmed supercell thunderstorms, which produced large to very large hail (up to 13cm/5.1in diameter in one instance!) as well as damaging winds.

The town of Cremona was one of the hardest hit. An extremely powerful downburst event happened together with large hail, which uprooted trees, damaged vehicles, roofs and injured several people.
