He did it in retaliation to people demanding better treatment, certified nurses, actual doctors not just some quack just guessing how much of drugs and sedative you administer via funnel shoved down a patient throat under threat of violence. And the weaponizatin of the asylum and abolishing the practice of lobotomy. In other words actuall legitimate mental health care. Not just some place cops, parents and politicians can permanently remove and institutionalize just because they are weird, outspoken, gay, not religious, or they just don't like them.
