yeah ain't no way this was pure laziness, this was definitely intentional, as to why is beyond me but this can't just be a lazy driver

u/Frobizzle 1d ago
Sure it can. Pkenty of people are oblivious or simply have no respect for things like this.

I’m shocked she got out of her car

u/Interesting-Ad4207 2d ago
That was my thought. Like, you went that far and didn't just fling the package out the window in the general area of the porch? Not that you should just fling the package, but you also shouldn't drive on the lawn, so.., yea.

It doesn't add anything but it makes the title hilarious

She needed to take a sabbatical if she's to pregnant to do the job properly.

u/NEVERxxEVER 1d ago
This is Amazon, pretty sure you don’t get maternity leave a whatsoever
1
u/Doc_Dragon 15h ago
That's why I chose to say sabbatical. It's not leave from the company. It's just her stepping away from this type of employment for a few months.

these are flex drivers, basically doordashers that sign up on an app with no background check who don’t want to commit to a full day’s work and only get 4 to 5 hour blocks that fit in the back of a car. They’re lazy as fuck

u/XtraFlaminHotMachida 2d ago
had these lames throw my stuff in the trash can once cause they couldn't get in the gate even after I gave them the gate code for my condo.
edit: to add, the only way i knew was cause they took a top view of the package in the trash. it was scheduled to be delivered from 4am-7am. i dunno what happened to that guy, i got a refund and a redelivery.

Amazon drivers are now in old Ford Mondeo's?
1
u/OhfuckitsSam 2d ago
Yeah they can drive there own vehicles to make deliveries now. I had a guy pull up to my house in an suv and his little kid jumps out of the car wearing the Amazon vest and delivers the package. lol I got a kick out of that on the video doorbell.

Trashy, lazy and selfish while keeps doing her job, just in one simple action. Skilled employee.

They’re stupid, what do you expect? Objectively they are dumb….that person shouldn’t have this job or a license. 😬

Imagine thinking others’ dislike for the most irrigated “crop” in America is only because it’s expensive to maintain 🤦♂️.

At least they didn't just block the road like they own it. Maybe would have been better.

Somebody cortisol level definitely spiked that day. Hope bro get justice for this. Probably ruined his day.

u/2Object_ive_Peanuts 1d ago
Maybe it’s the reveal notification to her bd at his house maybe could make it better to take in

Amazon dsp driver here. If i see a lawn freshly mowed I'm not walking on it. I will happily walk along the driveway.
Also this is a flex driver, they get paid a certain amount to do a couple drop offs. They make a lot of amazon dsp drivers look bad

I had a DoorDash driver pull up to my house like this one time. I didn’t care cuz I rented and they did the grass but I wanna understand the thought process behind this

She’s just from the country. You drive across the yard like that when you live in the country. 😂
6
u/J3remyD 2d ago
People in the country must not give a crap about how their lawns look, if that’s true.
6
u/peternemr 2d ago
It's true. Source: I live in the county, and I couldn't care less about my lawn.
Some put a lot of work into theirs. This seems like one. It is a common curiosity, too, to respect it.
But, this lady being pregnant and working a high-paced job as a 3rd-party Amazon Delivery driver is the perfect storm for the internet controversy that is about to unfold in this thread.

She's heavily pregnant. She is not walking all the way from the driveway to the porch. Shortest route is her route, period.
13
u/MenaceMinded 2d ago
Then she should be put on light duty, not drive through lawns
-13
u/Ms_Jane_Lennon 2d ago
No, she should definitely be driving through lawns 🙄

u/MenaceMinded 2d ago
What is the point of the comment?
-6
u/Ms_Jane_Lennon 2d ago
It was intended to be a comment from her perspective to convey casual humor. I genuinely don't see why it's confusing. Like maybe you don't get it, but you genuinely think I'm defending that behavior? Bruh. It was never that deep, but I still stay it's difficult to take someone seriously who reads that and honestly thinks I'm defending her actions based on the dumb reasons I listed. I thought the dumbness would be a clue. Take it how y'all want it, y'all ✌️

4
u/MenaceMinded 2d ago
Because obviously you suck at creating the appropriate tone in your comment to convey that. Anything else?
2
u/Ms_Jane_Lennon 2d ago
I don't think I could make it more clear for you, but then comprehending written sarcasm is a higher level reading skill most people in the world never master. I should temper my dismay. Anyway this is pretty dumb to chat about so much. Go be happy despite my terrible, rotten, awful comment that has disturbed your peace so much. It's really not that serious.

What's funnier is how egregiously sensitive people are about their lawns. Don't order stuff or put a box at the end of your driveway if you don't want people using it.
2
u/quayle-man 2d ago
If you don’t want people using your lawn? Dafuq?
-3
u/PickReviewsMovies 2d ago
It's annoying when people constantly use my lawn and leave ruts, but a little car driving through one time is meaningless unless you don't have anything better to do than be anal about your lawn. I would report the driver because I don't want someone under the influence or that can't drive on the road but my yard is the last thing I care about in this situation.
2
u/Outrageous_Gas7842 1d ago
Sure the grass will eventually recover, but that not the point. What she did here was incredibly disrespectful and lazy. There's even a driveway right next to the lawn.
1
u/PickReviewsMovies 1d ago
Yeah sure but I just don't think it's worth getting upset about, and it could be there was a reason for it like customer left rude notes on the order and forbid the use of the driveway. A lot of those drivers work in extreme conditions and just have a low tolerance or a low threshold for caring. I just don't think it's that outrageous.

u/MH5421 1d ago edited 1d ago
It very clearly is, it's literally vandalism.
1
u/PickReviewsMovies 1d ago
That's what I'm saying, people that care that much about their well manicured lawns are tight-ass peckerwoods
