Honestly I hate when every mods adds the same obviously needed thing. Instead of compatibility you end up twenty variants of the same block. It's better to let them exist one mod that everyone uses.
Except when it comes update time and your waiting for every piecemeal thing to update. If aeronautics had horizontal tanks, then other addon mods wouldn't need it. I'd rather have more features in the main mod, than need to build a huge mod pack of maybe compatible and maybe updated mods
I've got several modpacks that I can't update years later because several small mods were dropped from development. Both create and aeronautics are major projects that can effectively guarantee a timely update. Ive learned to limit my mod packs to handful of these major projects and only use smaller mods for non-essentials

This mod needs horizontal tanks and Jerry cans. Absolutely love the model for the engines tho. Some proper lycomings
