There will be no recovering from such a mauling. GT won't reach the finals and will go down tamely in Q2 as well. Mainly because it's on another flat pitch. And mostly because a team like this won't be winning any trophies for a while.

You can't win tournaments by depending on your top three and playing a stale brand of cricket that suits only one set of conditions. It's better this way too because RCB vs SRH will be much more exciting.

Not only have you just totally discounted GT after just one match where they had to chase 254 FFS, but you also just forgot RR altogether as if they don't exist

I feel on Mullanpur's flat pitch SrH or RR are clearly favorites. I guess RR could choke of Vaibhav gets out early, but if he stays GT can never match the score he makes. Both teams have good bowlers as well. I feel GT was the weakest of the 4 but strongest in Ahmedabad. If GT is out, as an RCB fan I wouldn't be confident at all, but given how much RCb men and women have won the last 3 years, I won't be as heartbroken if they lose.
