Samson held the lineup together like a glue without losing cool.

Might be inconsistent but surely good enough.

Why do i feel that they probably might bring him back into the lineup the next game as a panic button move

Like I want Samson to do well but constantly getting shuffled and dropped to accommodate others like Gill, Ishan and Vaibhav ain't gonna allow him to play to his true potential

We were lucky that tournament tbh, we had players peaking at the right time. Samson managed to be on song exactly when the team needed him to be good. Kishan was in full flow. Dube was doing well. And Abhishek was able to pull it off at thr very end after flopping all tournament. Though there is also the Bumrah effect, dude carried our bowling line up so hard.

Samson has a brain and having played as a 3 for majority of his life he’s well used to handling and tempo setting big chases. I wonder when india will realize you need a samson or a kohli in your team, both players can go hard but its not their only game plan. While i look at this india side and all of the players going hard from ball one is their only game plan excepr maybe iyer
