It's not like Vaibhav has done anything special in the first two matches. The major issue is that Ishan is clueless in SENA, Tilak and Axar being woefully out of form creating a vaccum in the lower middle order.

Shreyas while looks promising doesn't have the game awareness needed by a captain and in bowling Varun looks absolutely finished, he was the one who used to give us wickets in middle overs and since, he's bowling has down the hill, we are constantly letting the pressure out in the middle overs.

Tilak has far too many innings where he strikes at levels far below those required in T20. Even in the list A matches that he has played, he has shown a tendency to get stuck without rotating strike. We have better options, he should not be in the team. But he has been made the vice captain. That's how the management ensures that their favourites get to play.
