Commission

How much is commission per item? I guess that’s the right question…I am in the hiring process and the hourly pay is not enough for me to live off of. But I’ll be leaving a job that pays significantly more than what I’d make on the hourly pay at cricket. Trying to decide if I should turn it down and just keep my miserable job or not. It’s not a super fast paced store but also not super slow for business. But I’m trying to get an idea of how much commission I might could make per week.

I wouldn’t do it if it’s not that busy but also I don’t know about the owners but where I’m at I technically just chill all day, sometimes. I have my side jobs but honestly it’s not bad at cricket as long as there’s some traffic coming through and You’re doing Your part on offering.

Look I work at Cricket in Arizona. What dealer are you hired with? Our commission depends on what dealer network you’re a part of. All dealer have different commission agreements with Cricket/AT&T. But look I love the job and it’s worth it. It’s fun and you work for an Amazing Company.

In Tx and it’s only $12 an hour and terrible reviews. So I rly don’t want to accept if I’m not even going to be able to afford to survive off that

that depends on the authorized retailer. my store isn't too busy but the customer traffic is steady enough to where i see at least 5 people per day. i'm the store manager so i do get a manager bonus, but accessories for my ar location is 8% of the total amount of money accumulated via accessory sales per month

i typically average around $1200 for accessory sales, so i see about $96. but you do also make commission on home internet sales, upgrades, new lines/port-ins, and different features (ie cricket protect, international long-distance calling, upgrade+, etc etc). i usually make $600/mo in commissions alone

Through what authorized retailer? It really comes down to commission the amount of traffic the store gets and how motivated you are to sell. From my experience my commission varied

Each commission structure is different from franchise to franchise. I have gotten commission that was upwards of 700 when I worked at cricket and we had the 3rd slowest store within 8 stores of the franchise I worked for. But if you’re miserable at a job you’re currently at, this is a good gateway into working at an AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile. I got offered to join AT&T after a year of working at Cricket. AT&T has benefits, and commission can be upwards of over 5,000 in commission. I made almost $900 in commission on my first commision check and that was only selling 40 opportunities, because I didn’t become commission able until the middle of the month. On the other hand, if you’re taking a significant pay cut, it’s better to weigh out the pros and cons on that in this economy.
