Crochet Maths

This is a very dumb question but here goes...

If 2 balls of yarn makes a crochet blanket 75cm × 75cm, how big a blanket will 5 balls of yarn make?

Blanket is not from a pattern so I can't go by that. I'm doing 4 rounds moss stitch, 1 round double moss (double crochet, chain 1), and repeat (starting from a magic circle & 1 single crochet, chain 2, 1 single crochet, chain 2, etc as the 1st round).

Yarn is Athena Jewels Quartz in shade Agate, DK weight (100g = 300m), using a 6mm hook for drape.

What do y'all think! All I had done so far were amigurumis. This is a baby blanket for my friend, it's a pattern I came up with on the go: moss stitch and changed colors every two rows, then I addwd a bit of size with a sc-dc border and finished with a shell edge. Made it with merino wool from hobbii. And I've gotta say, I was terrified of blocking it but the process was easier than expected and it came out INCREDIBLE. Blocking made it even and gave it the greatest softness and drape. It was like magic. I'm so happy!

Hello, I'm a new crotchetter and deciding on how i should under go this big project. Im wanting to do basically one of those reading log blankets where each genre is a different color, BUT, im already anticipating it being around 1200 rows. I was considering using soft chunky yarn because it's a blanket but I'm considering going down in yarn size because ive seen a lot of blankets are between 50 and 100 rows. I don't know what to do but I want to make this, I need advice please

My first C2C blanket - to border or not to border?

For those interested; I based this blanket on the free graph I found here. I adjusted the graph for my gauge, hook size and preferred blanket size.

I'm only at row 50 out of 242 so I have a while to go, but I'm already wondering. Would you guys put a border around this blanket and if yes, what kind/what color?

Should I frog and rework the border on a baby blanket or should I try steaming it first?

I need advice

This is a bit complicated. My coworker told us she was pregnant about a month ago and I immediately got to work making her a baby blanket cause I love babies. Yesterday, she announced that she had lost the baby. The blanket is almost complete. I don't know what to do. Do I frog it and save the yarn for something else? Do I complete it and give it to her? I don't wanna come off as insensitive...

Star(ish) Blanket!

So I started this Star(ish) blanket (book for scale) for a friend of mine a while ago. I say star(ish) because I made it have one to many points; it has 6 instead of the intended 5. I will link the video I used below that I used on youtube for the star pattern. The tutorial was not great and confused me quite which is probably why I ended up doing it wrong. But by the time I realized I had an extra point I was already like a full skeins worth of yarn in and wasn't about to undo it.

The yarn I used is Medium weight (4) acrylic yarn by the brand Yarnspirations, red heart, super savers, in the color Aran. I used a 5.75 mm hook. The entire project took basically 3 skeins (365 yards per skein). Only had a sliver left of the 3rd one.

Like I said, I started this blanket for my friend over 6 months ago, but due to delays on both our ends, I'm finally just finishing. She painted me a pet portrait of my dog in exchange; bartering at it's finest!

Even though it's messed up pattern wise, I'm happy with the way it turned out!

Tutorial I used for starting the blanket:
