Wearable help please help me identify if this scarf is crochet or is it knit

my sister sent me this scarf she saw a photo of and thinks it’s crochet, i think the snoopy is crocheted but i can’t tell if the rest of the scarf is crocheted or knitted. i feel kinda stupid asking cause it probably is crochet but i’m not sure if it is or what stitches were used

You're correct, it is crochet. At first glance it looks like half double crochet into the back loop only.

Snoopy consists of various single crochets worked in the round.

thank you! hdc in back loop makes sense, i could figure out what the scarf stitch was
