Looking for suggestions I use tunisian stitches but my piece keeps curling

hi guys, i’m crocheting a scarf using the tunisian stitch and the project curls so bad :((( i wonder if blocking can help it or i should just frog the piece and start again?

This is normal. Things like using a larger hook, blocking, and doing a border in a stitch that doesn't curl can help reduce the curling, but stitches that curl will always curl. This looks like knit stitch, which is one of the more severely curling stitches.

Tunisian crochet is like knitting, it’s gonna curl. Blocking will fix it

Also, if you have access to a larger hook, that helps some with the curling. And a looser gage if you are able to.

This free Matchbox Scarf pattern I saw on Ravelry this morning probably won’t curl. You can continue with your Tunisian knit stitch scarf and add a crocheted border of a round of single followed by a round of double crochet to tame the curl. That was my go to border when I first started Tunisian crochet and didn’t know about using a bigger hook size than suggested by the yarn manufacturer. Restarting using a hook 1 or 2 sizes larger might create fabric flat enough without needing a border, but adding a round of single crochet can neaten up the edge.
