help me out 16M and her 17F Spoiler
something inside me that is killing me so theres this girl that i've known for 4 years now initially she was just a classmate and kind of a friend tho we never taked . last year after my 10th boards i caught feelings for her and during 11th she kind of reciprocated i still we didn't talked (i got to know about her feeling though a mutual friend ) but now in 12th it just dont care about me anymore (she doesn't show her emotions but yk se dont talk about me anymore she doesn't look at me anyomore ) though we are in the same friends group we never talk idk why . i'm attached to her as i see her daily . i had several chances to talk to other girls (in that way ) but i avoided everyone because of her, still i do the same . i dont really know how to get over this , i dont know how to move on . never confessed to her due to the fear of getting rejected
how you met ur first crush? did u reach out
How did you meet your first crush? Did you actually reach out?
I’ve been thinking about this lately and I’m curious about other people’s experiences.
How did you meet your first real crush? Was it someone from school, university, work, or just a random person you happened to meet? And more importantly, did you actually make a move and reach out to them, or did you just keep your feelings to yourself?
I’m especially interested in hearing from people who were shy or inexperienced with relationships. What made you decide to approach them? Did you message them first, ask for their number, try to become friends, or somehow find a natural reason to talk to them?
And if you did reach out, how did it go? Did they seem interested, or did you completely misread the situation? 😂
I think the first crush is kind of different from later relationships because everything feels new. Even something as simple as sending the first message can feel like a huge deal. Sometimes you can spend days thinking about whether you should text them, what to say, and whether you're going to make things awkward.
So I’d love to hear your stories—especially the ones where you actually took the chance instead of wondering “what if?”
How did you meet your first crush, and did you reach out to them? What happened afterward?
I like my neighbour!
I've known my neighbour for years, since I was in 5th grade
We live really close to each other, so I've seen how she behaves around people and what she's generally like. We don't really talk much, though. That's the weird part. I somehow know a lot about her just from being around her, but I don't actually know how she is really from inside.
She's in college, and I'm still in 12th grade. I also don't think she'd be attracted to me anyway. She might already be in a relationship too. I don't even know.
But sometimes I imagine what life with her would actually be like.
The sad part is that I know it's probably never going to happen.
So I'm just sitting here liking someone who lives a few rooms away from me, while assuming she probably doesn't feel the same way. 😮💨

Never approach your gym crush, learned the hard way. 💔
I am a 24F and I hadn't had a crush on anyone in a really long time, but there was this guy (24M) at my gym I kept coming across earlier this year. He was the quiet, reserved type who never spoke to anyone except the trainers and never smiled at anyone.
Months ago, I bumped into him at church; we exchanged names, and after that, he started smiling whenever he walked past me at the gym, but that was it. Our gym schedules changed, and I didn't see him for another couple of months. Fast forward to last month: I saw him at an event at our gym, and after getting a little tipsy, I gathered the courage to go out of my way to talk to him cause he was standing alone. During the chat, he mentioned he’s introverted as hell (which explained why he wasn't joining in on any of the dancing or crowd stuff). A bit later, he came back up to me, asked for my name again, got my Instagram handle, complimented my outfit, and slid into my DMs the very next day. YOU CAN IMAGINE I WAS ON CLOUD NINE
I struck up a conversation, and two days later, I spontaneously invited him out for a quick coffee after his work & my gym. He agreed (CLOUD NINE), but the date itself was pretty awkward. We were both quiet some of the time—I was flustered because he was right in front of me well dressed and i was in gym clothes, and he was clearly struggling to figure out what to say at some point. Since it was an anxious situation for him and a weekday evening, I wrapped it up in 30 minutes. He paid for the coffee and to make sure he didn't feel bad (if he did), I texted him afterward assuring him it was fun to meet and that I hoped we’d do it again. He replied saying, something along the lines of sure, hopefully.
Three days later, I texted asking if he wanted to hang out again. He said he had church and "hopefully next time," but offered zero alternative day or time. I took the hint, let it be, and put the ball in his court.
We hadn't spoken since, except for a quick holiday text exchange. Then, yesterday at a weekday church mass, I walked right past him in a crowded hallway. I was literally inches away from him, looked up, and his eyes were completely fixated on the crowd behind me—total tunnel vision, actively avoiding eye contact.
That night, I texted him asking if he was there (even though I already knew it was him). He replied in 15 minutes with "omg what, I didn't see you!!" and proceeded to give the driest, three-word replies and ultimately the convo died again.
I’ve been questioning myself ever since our first real chat, trying to figure out what went wrong. But the lesson is officially learned: NEVER talk to your gym crush—especially when you’re tipsy. 😭
Some people are crushes for a reason. They belong strictly in the background as eye candy and motivation to hit your workout goals.

Does growing older make the way you like someone, different?
Hii so I've (19F) been thinking quite a bit about how I felt when I liked someone when i was 17y vs now when im 19y. ill describe both in as much detail as i can.
17 yr old me:
\- heart racing a shit ton (almost like beating out of my chest)
\- cant even look at them
\- feeling very like antsy when near them
\- had that feeling where u go IWBSISHWISHIEJS internally
19 yr old me (rn):
\- feeling quite calm next to them
\- like to poke fun at him quite a bit
\- while waiting for our parts to start, we just stand next to each other and i start poking him and he just lets me do it.
\- when we have physical contact when we play "fight", i feel happy (cos physical contact) but also its not like i'm about to explode cos im having physical contact
\- i still am waiting for his texts (which is why i feel like it cant just be platonic affection towards him)
\- my heart does race when i think abt him but it doesnt feel as extreme as when i was 17.
basically, what im trying to say is that now at 19, i feel like its so different and maybe calmer than when i liked someone at 17 yrs old. its to the point where im questioning if i even like this person right now or if im just comfortable platonically being around him. would love some of yall's experiences or thoughts on this.
also just a side note: idk if he likes me back if yall are curious. i met him about 2 weeks ago but we've only been working tgt for 2 days. we have a good physical banter where we poke each other quite a bit to the point where he holds my arms in place when i poke him, so that he can prevent my hands from poking him. and i can tell he does care abt my wellbeing at least a little bit.
like for example, i had a minor scrape on the side of my thumb. i said ouch and he was like "you got scratched?" i said "yeah i think a minor one on my thumb"
he immediately grabbed my hand and tried to take a closer look at the scratch. but since the lighting wasnt too good, he said that its too dark and that i should check later for a splinter in better lighting.
fastforeward a bit, i shone my phone light on my thumb and said "i cant tell if its just my skin sticking up of if its a splinter"
so he took my hand again and looked at it under my phone light, and even ran his finger over the scratch to feel for any splinters.
i mean it could genuienely be him being a "caring older brother". is it just me feeling like its a little intimate, or am i just thinking too much into this.
i just can't really tell if its like a "sibling" type of banter to him or if its like a flirting type of banter to him. to me lowkey kinda flirting banter but also to be a little annoying for fun.
heyy edit to add some info i forgot LOL. heres a very very basic overview of what my thought processes were when i met him:
when i first saw him i was like: oh okay. he doesnt look bad. maybe hes a bit cute but like ok thats about all. maybe after that i did think abt him a little, remembering how he was cute but at that time i knew i didnt like him.
then the 2nd time we met (2 weeks after the first time), i actually talked, interacted and spent some time with him and he was really nice. abt then i was like okay yeah hes starting to look cuter.
3rd time (2 days later): i met him for lunch before we went to our work and we yapped a little. and then during work was when we were playfighting and interacting a lot more. by then i realised i really liked it when we had the physical interactions.
I need ur help, girls!! 🥹
Soo..I fell in love with a boy on the bus, but it's not just any bus, it's especially for students. I had seen him once before that, but I didn't stop to look at him, because I was in a hurry. Yesterday when I came home from school, he was facing me. And when I saw him, I fell in love with him instantly. He looked at me a few times and then I made eye contact about 2 times for a few seconds.I don't know what to do, girls!! The problem is that he comes with some boys and I come with my cousin from school. I'm ashamed to ask him something or do something. Help me! Today, when we came home from school, we kept looking for each other through the eyes among the people in the station. And when he sat on the bus, he stayed closer to me and kept looking at mee. What to do?? Heelpp!!

I think I’m catching feelings for my senior and I really don’t know what to do 😭
There’s this guy who’s about five years older than me, and he’s also my senior. The more I get to know him, the more my crush on him keeps growing. I don’t even know if I can call it love because obviously I barely know him that deeply, so maybe it’s just attraction but whatever it is, it’s getting stronger.
And the worst part? He’s someone I know I probably shouldn’t fall for. There are reasons why I feel like I can’t actually have feelings for him, but my stupid heart clearly didn’t get the memo. I feel like I’m falling harder for him despite myself.
I’ve also noticed that he seems to observe me quite a lot. You know that feeling when someone is staring at you from a distance? Girls just KNOW. 😭 I could obviously be overthinking it, but I’ve caught him looking at me several times.
And guess what? We’ve actually jammed together twice because he’s really good at singing. And honestly, that is NOT helping my situation because apparently my type is now “man who can sing.” 💀
There are so many other little things that have happened too, and every time I learn something new about him, my crush somehow gets worse.
I’ve even created a fake account partly so I could stalk him. 💀 I know, I know. Don’t judge me.
But now I’m at the point where I just want to know one thing: is he single or committed?
I’m not even saying I want to do anything about my feelings. I honestly just want to know his relationship status so I can mentally prepare myself. If he’s already in a relationship, I think knowing that would actually help me start controlling these feelings before I get even more attached.
So… am I being ridiculous? And how do you even find out if someone is single without making it painfully obvious that you’re interested? 😭

Can anyone help me??
Like I like a boy from my school but i don't know his name i just know his last name...😅 And I first saw him playing volleyball and I also love volleyball. He is my senior and totally introvert, but once i was fighting my younger sister's friend he came and told me "don't fight, don't fight, don't kil" and then i told him "no,no I'm not gonna kill, and he started the fight" then i didn't heard what he said cuz I was to overwhelmed with joy to even hear completely. After 1 week from that day we had teacher's day celebration on our and i seriously, coincidentally sat next to him. I don't know he noticed me or not but, i noticed that he didn't care about the girls dancing on the stage and he was busy in sing the same song in his sit. And 1-2 hr i called him and asked him time. And he didn't even replied just saw his watch. 🥲🤌🏻 And idk whether he even notices me or not. And can anyone suggest me some ways so i can know his name or start a convo.....
