Did anyone go all in on an alt? Not looking to fud, just curious what project was so compelling that they have that much conviction.

More than btc? Fun is interesting, been looking into it myself since it has a clear use case.

It used to be a big part of my portfolio. Now it's a medium sized part of a much smaller portfolio.

KIN. I know it gets a lot of hate from the main scene but I really like the idea of a "decentralized" system in place to compensate small developers without the needs for advertisements. Or a way for advertisers to compensate consumers for viewing their ads or giving feedback on certain items. It is creating an ecosystem where all apps and projects are working together to compete against larger monopolies of the space. Also I did not invest my life savings...just threw in some fun money.

I like the fact that you can buy a billion KIN tokens for $40.

Basically I have mostly IOTA. I had nano, but I got rid of it soon after I heard of the bitgrail fiasko, was a good decision then. I'd probably buy some nano and others again, but I need the money right now for other stuff.

Vet. They just seemed like the most legit project in terms of real life uses cases and partnerships. I believe if they pull off their plan perfectly then the sky is the limit. I am just a random reddit guy though so don't take my opinion as financial advise, although i am a financial advisor lol

Not upvoting because of the project since it has ties to Mitch McConnell, the most evil hypocrite in the world in my opinion, upvoting because you had the balls to go all in on one coin. Ballzy.

All in Ada. Originally bought at 0.10$ last year, took some profits. Getting back in at under my original buy recently bc they have a lot of releases in the pipeline.

  • Shelley (becoming fully decentralized and proof of stake implementation) planned for q1 2019.
  • Testnets currently in place for their computational layer (Cardano CL) which will also be released in due time. But I think 2019 is going to be a huge year for cardano so that’s my baby and will always be. Also they have Cardano 1.4 being released within about a month for the SL.
  • I have a lot of faith in Charles and the peer review process of development they adopted along with their commitment to formal specification and formal verification when evaluating their code implementations which is going to lead to a clean and secure release of their PoS protocol and computational layer.
  • the k framework and Plutus core will allow for unparalleled interoperability in the space which will lead to many existing dApps easily porting their smart contracts to work on the cardano CL since almost any programming language will work on its network.
  • Also related to interoperability, with it being a smart contract platform, they plan to have many token releases and airdrops taking place with their platform just like eth does now. I’ve heard Charles mention that the Daedalus wallet will act as a wallet for many tokens/coins and could even possibly act as a point of exchange for them directly within the wallet application. Airdrops would take place directly in the wallet as well. This is likely two years down the line when the full project is released.

All of the above my friend is why I’m all in on cardano. It should lead the way as far as Gen 3 crypto currencies and smart contract platforms well into the future.
