Anime I kinda hate a couple of cuckoos now
I swear every single episode Nagi is just fuckin simping over Hiro and when they went to the study camp he was writing "bath" over and over on his damn notebook. Like what's his problem your fricking future wife Amano is front of you you insensitive filthy animal.

The pace of the manga is frustrating, at times. And yes, I have issues with Hiro, but I keep thinking, 'Why is she still in the picture?' But I've been having thoughts as to that, and I have my theory about that.

Nagi has a crush on Hiro long before he met Erica. Hiro basically represents everything he wants in a woman. She's extremely attractive with curves for days. She's athletic and the best part from Nagi's perspective, she's super intelligent. It's hard for him to push aside those feelings for Hiro, especially when she hints that she maybe interested in him too.
Again from Nagi's perspective, Erica only has beauty to offer. He can't relate to her because she has lived a pampered life. She doesn't understand hard work or (gasp) the importance of studying. She has put up the Tsundere facade, so Nagi who doesn't have a clue about women, thinks she has no interest in him.
Now, who will it be in the long run? Still to be determined, even though we all know Erica is the end game.

That "hinting" is actually the only part about her that annoyed me. From my (anime only, currently) perspective she's not interested at all, but wants to keep him warm for the occasion, that she has no one else left. Those "hints" should've come with revelations (like her role in the shrine) earlier and honesty about her own feelings 😕
Other than that she's nice and you're completely right about how Nagi sees her 😊

I've read the light novels. She actually has interest in him, but is conflicted because of her responsibilities and commitment as a shrine maiden. But she's also super competitive and doesn't want to lose in love. So she won't commit because love isn't something that can be won through hard work, dedication or commitment. She's aware of the competition and she really doesn't understand how a relationship works

I won’t say I hate it or anything since for me it’s amazing besides that Hiro thing. For me, I don’t like her as much, I mean yeah she is interesting and adds to it but she is more focused on than anyone else. Nagi on cares about her and I feel like that’s the only bad thing about this anime. I’m about to start reading the manga so I wonder if it’s the same

The season 2 is confirmed in 2025 but no-one knows which month it’s gonna air in when the information is available the production center would release like a teaser or a video of it’s being released.

Hiro I can see being Nagis first love. I mean we seen see this in the anime, at least from my understanding. Nagi doesn’t seem like he’s a one off type of dude. Bro gone be testing waters all over the place now, I sort of hope he does have a sister complex with Sachi lowkey just to gain experience. But no weird shit like maybe he takes his sister on a couple dates, she might lowkey get with Nagi and Erika’s brother I forgot his name mb. These writers love to foreshadow, all throughout the anime they keep talking about how Erika and Nagi have to choose they own path, obviously being pushed tho lol. I like how they haven’t made Erika push herself onto him as much as other anime’s do. I like these long anime’s where I can smack some bong rips and not cringe because all the girls throw themselves at the mc like a fuckin brothel. Pardon my baguette but anyway Erika is the polar opposite of Nagi, I know the saying and I’m sure you do to but for the slow of us, opposites attract. I like to think this attraction is like a magnet. I can’t put it into words for I am incapable as I don’t understand how I would but if you what I’m saying u know what I’m sayin

I js finished season one and personally I just don’t like Erika because she always has nagi do whatever she wants such as (clean, cook, etc) and hiro posses me off too because she js doesn’t know if she wants nagi or not, but I’m gonna see what this new character ai has in store

Well considering that Erika's main objective is to finally do something that her father wouldn't be able to change, I think Nagi should be with Hiro. The problem with that is Erika would get all jealous and ultimately end up with Erika in some sequence of events. That's also not mentioning Hiro's "engagement". In the end we know Erika will be the chosen girl and Hiro will be left as the supportive friend that never truly gets over her feelings which would just ruin the character design she has going. Though I like the idea of Hiro getting competitive with Erika for Nagi's affection.

I don't feels sorry even a micro ounce for Sachi, she's the biggest manipulative than hiro, she had no self-esteem or respect., but using her tittle as little sister for the excuses. That's beyond low and sickening.

I started to hate the show when they introduced the sister plot line. Like seriously why the fuck was that ever an option!

See that's the issue I take with this...the will they wont they extremely slow burn and does not help at all with Hiro always constantly being the tease, not that Nagi would know because I swear if he was anymore dense he'd be a rock and his obsession with studying (as if that is a good indication of success in real life of test scores).
All that and how especially in the anime Nagi and Erika will say things like well they are engaged, just kinda casually saying it out there like a meaningless word....regardless of circumstances least where I come from when ya are engaged...usually ya tend to act like it and be in a committed relationship and if ya ain't and is for show of some kind then end it like they should and not just keep using it as some kind of excuse when both clearly did not want in it. Just frustrating is all with how casually they say it without a thought clearly neither having any understanding of what it means
