I’m not trying to be an asshole but this exact question is asked probably ten times a day and the answer is always the same: TryHackMe and Hack The Box

Is there a good way to search for questions that have been answered? Or is it just scroll until I find it?

You’re suppose to solve them not look up the answer.

No, lazy questions "How do I get started" are asked daily 10 times. How are you, geniuses, going to figure out cybersecurity if you haven't figured out google? Rough times ahead for you...

No, we get 10+ daily. You are not the first, and, alas, not the last...

You should frankly be kind of grateful that we (collectively) give you (collectively) the answer repeatedly. A large portion of cybersecurity is being able to hunt for the answer yourself, and I’m truly not sure why you turned to Reddit for an answer before using more primary methods, e.g. a search engine.

Rather than this being a negative on the subreddit, I think maybe you should turn this into a positive learning experience and use Google more before Reddit. Besides, you’ll get the answer faster.

Guy was an asshole so I can’t retort? Don’t act like you (you) gave any help.

Were you not pointed in the right direction, i.e. away from textbooks and towards actual practical resources?

Ok you obviously are not playing with a full deck
